Petite Plus Size F&F Haul 🍂 | Short Jeans, Strange Sizing & A Surprise!

I’m finally back trying F&F fashion after TWO YEARS! 🍂👖
After a two-year break from F&F, I decided it was time to give them another try — and this autumn haul certainly gave me plenty to talk about!

I’m plus size, over 50 and petite/short, so finding clothes that fit well can sometimes be a challenge. In this haul I’m trying on a selection of F&F autumn fashion, including petite/short jeans and other seasonal pieces, and I’m discovering that the sizing can still be rather inconsistent.

Some things were misfits, some pieces surprised me, and there were definitely moments when I wondered whether F&F had really lived up to my expectations.

But there is also something I'm genuinely delighted about…

After two years, I can fit into F&F fashion again! ❤️

So although there were disappointments, I’m not giving up on F&F just yet. I’m going to give them another try and see whether I can find those pieces that really work for a plus-size, petite woman over 50.

Wow, look at your waist line in that ditsy blouse, really lovely and could not see the issues at all on the video. Loved my stirrup pants so comfy and usually thicker material than the leggings that then followed. Worn with a tunic or long sweater and boots they were great for going out in. Those looked good on you. I do wish Autumn fashion continued with brighter colours, the dark colours are so drab.

I think that the Braun pants look great on you, and there is no problem with the back.
I would take them to be shortened

Hi Susan, you really are looking different! You aren’t far off fitting beautifully into that blouse which really suited you. The trousers weren’t that bad either, but I think you just need to find a brand that suits your shape better. I have to put my hand up and say I used to wear stirrup trousers too.. oh the good old days! Better luck next time. Terina x

Hey my lovely, oooh we have a Tesco one out on Monday and those stirrup leggings are discussed lol I looooved them back then but I’ve always been a leggings gal so no surprise there lol. Shame re the length of that top, leggings are fab. 21:00 these are too big and long. We are all such different shapes regardless of the actual size aren’t we, it’s so hard to get consistency in some stores for deffo. Fab vid tyfs ❤

Hi Susan, I am a size 14 ‘apple’ shape and have a larger tummy and thinner legs. I bought carrot style jeans from M&S in the short. They are a very flattering fit and I’ve had lots of compliments when I wear them. I don’t know if they do them in brown, I got a indigo pair and a black pair and they weren’t a bad price. They are not as voluminous as the barrel legs and are a more tapered leg. They might be worth a try. 😊❤xx

Back in the day I put the stirrup under my stilettos 🤣🤣🤣
Oh how I wish I could wear heels I’m riddled with arthritis my knees and ankles won’t allow it anymore!!!

I think F&F got the two black jeans right, they looked great on you. The blouse was lovely also but you would need to size up for the bottom button to close. The brown numbers were a definite no on this occasion but the colour really suited you well. 👍💛💛

Ski pants the leggings with stirrup lol..I used to wear them In late 80s I loved them cos they did not ride up you never saw the styrrip cos you had slouchy socks leg warmers and boots .but I don't remember them being uncomfortable...tho I had a pair in 1967 aged 2 they were black and blue paisley and I hated them..but cos they were itchy they itched so bad..I can still remember them cos they made me miserable.xx

I used to like the stirrup leggings back in the day as it was easier to wear with boots, no struggling to tuck them in x

Hello lovely lady. The first top was lovely on you! Its very in to have the bottom of the top open in a V shape. With your weight loss it'll soon close. You looked really slim in it ! Watch the footage back and you'll see how lovely it was from ALL angles. I agree the others weren't quite there but at least you gave them a try... the stirrup pants brought happy memories! I lived in them in my earlier 20s. Happy days!
