“Do not undo his work. Improve upon it only”

My biggest fear is they turn the old games playstyle in to the norse style. And i dont hate the norse games i just want the hack and slash back.

id love a Directors Cut version of GOW3 with cut Deimos storyline. I know its not going to happen but a man can hope

Old camera,  old combat,  lost levels , improved wall combat , harder difficulty

I really want them to add scrapped bosses/levels like Sparta

I can't be excited until I see some gameplay.I don't wanna play Ragnarok in disguise of God of war 1,2,3

God of war 3 Remake will be INSANE. I wish see the start of that game and Poseidon fight.

Maybe we are going to get the Sparta lost level of GoW2
A lot of interesting things can hapen

And me personally I want them to add the god armor in  3 as a costume or in 1 but i would prefer in 3

That weird version of master of puppets plays on my mind all the time

Okay here's a list of a few things that I think the god of war remake should do to succeed at least in my eyes:

1. If gameplay wise they change the game to be more similar to 2018 and Ragnarok (as someone who loves both 2018 and Ragnarok) I kiss this game goodbye

2. DON'T TONE DOWN ANYTHING. It's an m rated game I don't want to hear it.

3. Let us go downwards when climbing on walls faster by holding the x button, let us cancel rage of the gods like in later games with rage of the titans, make upgrading weapon faster and add ng+ in the  god of war 1 remake

4. I swear if I don't see a full weapon wheel in god of war 2 remake I'll crash out because devil may cry 4 gave us a full weapon wheel one year later. Oh yeah for this game due to how magic works in god of war 2 weapon switching in the remake should be similar to how you switch weapons in devil may cry 4 and 5.

5. This applies to all the games. SKIPABLE CUTSCENES. All of them.

And finnaly 6. If god of war 3 remake doesn't get ng+ I'll genuinely be furious.

These 6 requests are the bare minimum of what I want this remake to do to succeed.

As for new things to add.  Fighting someone like Apolo or Artemis in 3 remake would be neat, maybe a boss rush mode where you fight a harder version of every boss in a game or in the series akin to the arena  in Kirby I don't want to bloat the base experience so I don't have much I can suggest from a gameplay standpoint.

From a story standpoint bring up aspects from games like chains of Olympus, ghost of sparta, ascention and betrayal. Like make hades begrudgingly help you in god of war 1 remake cause you killed Persephone in chains of Olympus.

As for in general additions give us an option where we can play the games like how they looked originally, gives more behind the scenes video like the development of these games, concept art etc.

I think the best thing they can do about the camera is like the game mortal shaolin in the ps2, that camera was perfect you can change the view in 3 ways, a close up camera behind the character , a lil zoom out and a full arena camera, that imo is better than the norse games camera and the old games camera too.

Now we all await ... For God of War Trilogy Remake OHKO!!!!!!

I want a lore section in the pause menu for all 3 remakes, similar to how the Norse games have it. I love lore so it would be great asset to the trilogy remake.

I think the original stories of each game needs extra content added to the stories. Like stuff connecting Ascension, Chains of Olympus in the first game. Events of Ghost of Sparta mentioned in GOW2 and an explanation for why Artemis isn’t present in GOW3.

The mode where you fight enemies and as you win they get tougher is similar to God of War Betrayal "Arena" mode

Lower your expectations and you’ll never be disappointed.

I know it’s not a game-changing feature or a must have addition but I would genuinely love to see leaderboards implemented in the
upcoming God of War remakes.
For example in series like Uncharted  you can compare stats with your friends  total kills collectibles gathered fastest completion times and similar metrics Small features like these add a surprising amount of replay value.
They introduce healthy competition increase challenge and extend the game’s longevity Having both friend based comparisons and global leaderboards where players can see others competing for the top spots creates an engaging and motivating dynamic.
It’s a minor addition on paper but it can significantly enhance player engagement.

I hope they keep some of the old glitches like the sorrow jump from gow3, the square -> sqaure -> circle -> medusa head travel method with the artemis blade and the infinite magic glitch in gow1
