I put an AirTag on my Golden Retriever's collar and about a year ago I came home after work and he was not in the back yard, I pulled out my iPhone and saw that Jake was at the Animal Control building 7 miles away. I went and picked him up.

It also sucks that people get notified that is an AirTag with them because if someone steals your belongings that have an AirTag in there you don’t want them to know about they get alerted. Then they can just throw it away.

Brandon, I enjoy immensely listening to you because I literally learn so much. If I don't hear a review of the item from you, I will be hesitant to use it readily. This is just a little of why I listen to your reviews and also because you actually demonstrate the How Tos step-by-step. In short Brandon, you are a very good teacher. There are people who know a lot about a product but they are not as skilled in teaching about. Keep up the great work.

My cats both have tags on their collars. I just wish there was a notification when the tag goes out of range for when they go too far. Notify when left behind doesn’t work like that, it’s linked to a specific location which is the reverse. It’d be a good feature.

Lost luggage would sell me if I were a traveller. That's so helpful since a lot of airlines try to help you find your lost luggage, but it takes hours or days to find, or sometimes they tell you that they can't find it.

11:29 The shared AirTag option also works with the previous version. I have shared AirTags with my relatives since November 2025, when I noticed this option.

At present, I have a first-generation AirTag affixed to my pup; however, I intend to upgrade him to the second generation for the added assurance it affords. As for my other belongings, the original AirTags remain perfectly adequate and continue to serve their purpose admirably. I may, in due course, consider upgrading those used for my luggage when traveling, but for everyday needs, the first generation remains entirely sufficient.

Using V1 - the very first thing I did was rip out the speaker and put one in the car as a stolen vehicle tracker. Please confirm if V2 is the same.

Apple needs to give users the option to DISABLE the speaker so it can be used as a silent tracker.

I put an AirTag on my cat’s collar, he came back without it one day and I haven’t been able to find it since. It says it’s in my back garden, but when I go to find it, it moves to somebody else’s house, when I walk over to their house, it moves to another street, and it’s clear it’s trying to ping off a bunch of different iPhones my neighbours have and isn’t working at all
