Read Bobs very very good book, So sad to see him in this condition after all the care and healthy discipline he put into living his life. I would love to see things get better for a person of such obvious integrity and class. God bless you Bob Backlund.

Bob Backlaud back in the day was virtually unbeatable, in 1979 at the age of 14 I took my sister and best friend to MSG ringside to see Bob Backlaud vs Ken Patera who was my favorite heel, I paid for the tickets with money I made working afterschool at an upscale Chinese Restaurant in Mid-Town Manhattan. I really enjoyed the show.

Mr Backlund is one of my favorite wrestlers ever. What a class act.

Bob told me once that he absolutely never hurt anyone in the squared circle who he worked with.   And I 100% believe Bob .

Love Bob Backlund STEROID FREE Bob is a GOAT.❤

Man
First Paul Orndorf last interview
And now Backlund
It’s sad seeing guys in this condition after watching them so long in the ring and cutting promos
Keep Fighting Bob 🤜🙂

Each time seeing Our old heroes in their twilight is sad and happy that I got to have so many great memories with them. Bob was my first champion. I cried when the superstar tore up his belt!
The Harvard step/stress test with Sarge!

Really love Bob as a person I like when he was shown on various episodes of raw campaigning throughout the crowd he's very intelligent

Bob Backlund is a total legend of wrestling.

Loved Bob Backlund 💯

Yes one of my favorite wrestlers of all time,no doubt.

I loved watching  Bob Backlund wrestle! Nothing great on the mic but.a True Ring General! He doesn't get the credit he deserves!

I loved this interview. I remember and still love watching your matches with Ken Patera and Grag Valentine.  Great stuff.

Man this tears me up.i watched this when it originally Livestreamed. Now i understand what is happening...BB If only he could never capitulate now

A great legend of wrestling. One of my all time favourites

Great podcast Hannibal! I believe i heard that Bob has dementia from what i understand. The guy is a legend in the business for sure and a great athlete.Good interview

God bless Bob Backlund. 🙏

But you can hear him slipping away all his memories will be gone soon , very sad but they can show him video and say you did that you were the best in the world at one time and now he and the superstar are having their rematch with Vince SR sitting ringside

I wish there were something that could be done for Mr. Backlund. Seeing him struggle to process at times is difficult, considering his clean lifestyle and strong stance against all junk. As with any full contact sport, sometimes we pay the price down the road, which is why I have loved and appreciated every single wrestler that has put their safety on the line to entertain us. We will never truly understand their sacrifice unless we walk in their boots.
