Contemplating his life and knowing his death is coming, this prisoner moves through the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance...

Up the Irons! ✊🏻

It always puts a warm smile on my face when i see someone reacting to Bruce for the first time

A truly professional band. They know what works and have been doing it well a super long time. The energy at their live concerts is insane; something I don't get often with live music today.

This specific concert has no overdubs, so his voice and the instrumental are 100% a real live performance.

Iron Maiden debuted in 1980 and rose to fame as a UK heavy metal band in the 80's w/ a sound that combined dual harmony lead guitars, galloping bass and high, operatic style vocals w/ macabre and theatrical lyrics... Their music is also marked by technical parts and time changes that makes them very identifiable.
The other thing that defines Iron Maiden is their mascot 'Eddie the Head'... a crusty ghoul w/ hollow eyes and shriveled skin which appears on all the band's album covers, artwork and t-shirts in various incarnations.

So, Iron Maiden was formed in 1975 by Steve Harris (bass), who began writing original songs that he wanted to perform live in the East End of London pubs... The band frequently changed members in their club days and built a following by 1979, when they finally got signed w/ Dave Murray (guitar) and Paul Di'Anno (vocals)... The first 2 albums had a punk rock edge from Di'Anno's bluesy vocals but by 1981, the singer was burnt out from touring and parted ways w/ Iron Maiden, just months after Adrian Smith (guitar) had joined on 2nd guitar.
Bruce Dickinson (vocals) joined for Maiden's 3rd album 'The number of the beast'... which went to #1 on the UK charts and sold platinum in the US, establishing Iron Maiden as a premiere heavy metal band and Bruce Dickinson as the band's 'Air Raid Siren' for his high vocal range.

Nicko McBrain (drums) joined in 1983 for 4th album 'Piece of mind'... and Iron Maiden dominated the 80's metal scene w/ platinum albums like 'Powerslave' (1984)... 'Somewhere in Time' (1986)
Janick Gers (guitar) replaced Adrian Smith in 1990 but in 1993, Bruce Dickinson announced he was leaving Iron Maiden for a solo career.
Singer Blaze Bayley replaced Dickinson in 1995 but Iron Maiden rapidly declined in the 90's and 2 albums w/ Bayley on vocals failed commercially.

In 1999, the decision was made to fire Blaze Bayley and reunite Iron Maiden w/ both Bruce Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith... making them a 3-guitar band and they built their career back up w/ a more progressive metal sound w/ albums like 'Brave new world' (2000) ... 'Dance of Death' (2003)... 'A Matter of life and death' (2006)... etc. and touring the world repeatedly.
In 2024, drummer Nicko McBrain announced his retirement and was replaced by Simon Dawson (drums) on their current tours.

Up The Irons from México 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

The first band that I fell in love when I was a teenager in the 80´s.

Iron Maiden was formed in London on 25/12/1975 - and is still active.

The Song is from 1982 and is 2026 still in the Liveset  and all Member of Maiden are over 65 years old

Congratulations, you've earned your honorary headbanger's badge

Gracias. Maiden forever!

FEAR OF THE DARK,   RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER,   ACES HIGH     THE TROOPER and many more this is what happens when you have 3 lead guitarists who take turns playing solos and a bassist that is excellent and don't forget the incredible vocalist.

It's Maiden .. enough said .. 🎶 🎵 ❤

Bruce Dickinson is an amazing singer, even today he still sounds the same even though he's had throat cancer twice. His voice still sounds the same even though he's old.

I R O N  M A I D E N 🤟🤟

Watched them on August 30 in Toronto. Still the greatest heavy metal band full stop!

live after death will forever remain burned into my mind as one of the greatest metal albums ever made.

What just happened is you got to hear an iconic Rock song. Understatement for sure. Too many to list from these Masters of Metal.

One of Maiden's best and signature songs, and one of, if not The, best live performances ever. Perhaps better than the studio version.
