As a Sosa, Durk & Reese fan, this is bittersweet. I’m genuinely glad Sosa got out of that environment and chose himself. It’s sad Reese and Durk didn’t learn from him and went down different paths. Sosa really came to LA to leave the Chicago chaos behind and build his own life. I’m happy he’s still standing and doing his thing.

Really felt that "Sometimes, the only way to save your future, is to stop going back to your past".

Chief Keef left Chicago because Chicago was holding him back once he became rich and famous. Now he's living the life out there in California

Reminds me of Ice Cube. In his youth, he was all about gangsta rap and the "lifestyle". Then he grew up, got rich, became a father a d husband, saw how dangerous the community was, tried to improve its image and build it up, saw it was pointless, took his family a d wealth and left😕 Such is life

There a few rappers that stayed in their hometown and ended up getting killed. Keef is one of the few that made a smart decision and leave. Especially since Chicago had been known to have a LOT of dead rappers.
