The guy dancing on stage was the sign language interpreter.

One of my favorite nirvana songs. Truly a gem

"Was it 'Silver'?" No, they never had a song called "Silver." They had a song called "Sliver" though.

I don't know about Pop, but this is primo Punk influenced.

Guys, lose the Ai. Love Buzz was the first single, off Bleach and was blasted all over college radio. It was a Sub Pop mail order club issue single. I played Love Buzz on my radio show the day Bleach came out (white vinyl). btw, Love Buzz is a cover of a Song by The Shocking Blue. Psych pop. My band opened for Hole this same month, before Kurt & Courtney were a thing. This was when we all fucking rocked, b4 the fame, b4 the dope.

We can plant a house
We can build a tree.....have been my favorite lines in this song since the first time I heard it back in the 90s

Kurt wrote admittedly in riddles and in conflicting lyrics and rhymes at times. Always downplaying his efforts of course, so sarcastically coy. But the manner he delivered whatever the message was you decided. "It's your crossword puzzle, you tell me what it means to you." I think there is something very uniquely, intimately interactive and dismissive with an audience to me simultaneously. That's genius, guarding himself and sharing everything in the same breath.

That’s how I want to remember Nirvana. 👌🔥💥

I've got the dvd somewhere, and I remember that each side of the stage there was a dancer giving it some the whole way through.😂👍

This show was on Halloween of 91. Nevermind came out September 24. This was a bit of a homecoming show. After recording the album that summer they played briefly around the US, then did a summer festival tour in Europe. This included their first Reading festival in 91 and the band can be seen in the Sonic Youth movie 1991: The Year That Punk Broke. They were back in the US in September, crossed the US in October, including the Dallas show where Kurt clobbered the bouncer, and back in Seattle for this show on Halloween. From here they would return to Europe until December when they were back for some shows on the West Coast with the Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam. The New Year would see them perform on MTV as well as Saturday Night Live. This was the band at their busiest and best.

Honestly everyone in that time knew Kurt's pop streak. He wasn't shy about his admiration of The Beatles. Even Bleach had pop its moments. "About a Girl".

I've always said that AiC is the best Seattle band from the 90s, but I love me some Nirvana. "We can plant a house. We can build a tree. I don't even care. We could have all three. She said!"

It reminds me of how easy going life back than was. People enter the stage and jump off. Today they would tackle you to the ground and you had to go visit a judge.
