As much as her and Joan Crawford disliked each other, Bette always praised Joan for her work ethic. She was on time, knew her lines, and was a complete professional.

We all know Bette wasn’t keen on Joan Crawford but always referred to her as an absolute professional. I think that is what mattered the most to her.

When the greatest actor in the history of American cinema says you're a difficult person, you are a difficult person.

"you really are a true professional"
"yes that really is what she isn't"

I was an extra at the Denver filming and it’s true what Ms Davis said. We had to wait a couple hours to get our lunch. Dunaway never knew her lines, was always asking someone to tell them to her. Ms Davis came out, did her lines, no mistakes and when she finished, the place erupted in applause!!

I love Bette Davis!! Her quick-wittiness and candor can’t be matched.

Faye dunaway just got fired from "tea at 5"
prior to its Broadway transfer, for treating the crew terribly and acting like a real Mommie dearest, with truly outrageous and outlandish behavior. I believe everything that Miss Davis is saying.

If Betty Davis says you're difficult then you need to straighten up damnit...

Faye Dunaway was just fired from a Broadway show for this very reason. Bette knew!

Even into old age, Bette Davis was elegant! Hollywood has lost so much over the years. Most of today’s so called stars have no idea what elegance, sophistication and class are!

NO ONE drives a point home like Bette does! She's probably STILL to this day in her casket going over the points as to why Faye Dunaway is SO unprofessional!

I've heard others say the same thing about Faye that she's beyond insufferable. I believe Bette 100%.

I just adore Bette. I read her autobiography, it was incredibly interesting. A true Star.
