You forgot to mention that in the painting, the mother is scratched out.

The flashback actually make it hard to theorize considering Olivia is an old dying woman in modern day but idk how much time has passed

Honestly, Orville probably also has the blue sickness. I think that's why he had the blue circle on his head.

But... the other theories might legit be onto something....

i think gwen might been a human but  she was a rebellious daughter and tried to help the people suffering under her father and was converted to try and make her "perfect" that why her first thought of escape was to get down the abuse is a "punishment" for not acting her part not acting like her father wanted her to and oliva is trying to fix her to make her a 'perfect' big sister

I think Orville is that sun knight that we see attacking Andi and Frankie since they have the same voice, it bleeds red, and even has a mutated arm

I've heard the blue fluid is cobalt, it's used for batteries and electrical conducting, plus it's used for (blue) paints/inks as well and it is toxic.
We can see the blue chemical being used as paint (on merch) and Guinevere robots organs and fluids.

I wonder if Frankie is supposed to be the average Disney adult.

This could low key end up being the rose is pink diamond theory and this  becomes confirmed in the season finale

Oksy. How about this: white haired girl, Olivia, is the mother, who's immortality/rejuvenation experiment failed, and now she is somewhat crazy cruel child. The experiment killed her daughter, black haired girl on the picture. Hence - golden halo. Or halo coild mean sweet princessy character as well, also referring that it could be Gwen

Olivia and the presumably dead sister seem to be twins due to the identical hair.
Or.. Olivia wanted to look exactly like her sister because of grief?

A lot of people are theorizing that Gwen is Olivia's mother, but I agree with this theory about Gwen being an older sister instead. The mom in the painting is scratched out but it also looks like the scratches extend at the front of the dark haired girl. I think Olivia scratched herself out too.

I think, Guinnever being the older daughter of Orville is more like Fnaf or Poppy Playtime.

I didn’t even make the connection till now

The guard had RED BLOOD without an inch of blue. I wonder how she made them without needing the robotic blue blood.

I think the blue chemical that makes the cyborgs work properly is simply toxic and people who work with them or take it as a drug get slowly poisoned by it

I have a feeling that the Mom got turned into a Machine if she does something horrible to the Family, because in Arthianian Legends Guinevere who's the wife of King Arthur had affair with Lancelot, I have feeling that the Mom cheated on Orville then he turned her into a Machine making her into the Perfect Princess and Woman to cope with his sick fantasy and tragedy, which Olivia also suffers as well....😢

Im pretty sure i would go crazy and depressed is my family died and even chose to turn themselves into robots or replace themselves with androids. But the thought of hurting my family for it is a no for me. If Olivia did turn her sister into a robot, i would be so angry unless they show her backstory

I agree with the first theory I think it’s super like 100% but I feel like she got neglected and hated but I don’t think her mother hated her but her father did because then they got a second child and then she became a robot because he hated her now the sister knows this but she wants to try and fix her but she needs to act like she doesn’t care about her for her father that’s what I’m thinking

I like the idea of Gwen being Olivia older sister.
But maybe more than "a prank" maybe Gwen took Olivia out to look around and maybe Olivia got kidnapped, and that's why Orville emphasized "here" when talking to her.
And maybe Gwen had the Blue Sickness, maybe that turned her hair blue and gave that tint to her skin. Maybe she was already sick when Olivia got kidnapped, and little Olivia wanted to help her, but being a young kid she couldn't do anything (I imagine Gwen tried to save her from the kidnappers, but had a coughing fit, or another symptom of the sickness and just couldn't do a thing)
So, what if Gwen died while Olivia was gone, and after she returned (already broken) and learned that, she refused it, and insisted she could "fix" her. So Orville took the older sister dead body and turned her into a cyborg. And Olivia became obsessed with her.
Crazy theory, I know

I really think Guinevere is modeled after Olivia's mother. Who may have died when she was very young.

lol its not transmutation so much as just swaping out human parts for robot parts and that probably has some effect on the organic parts

it also has some wider reach it seems with other peoples babys being born blue, and people getting "blue lung"
