First of all, i can definitely relate to the friend! I was that friend, no matter what happened i stayed. I was right there. Its happened a few times. But i mourned there loss for long enough. My friends know me and after many years of waiting, i gave up, not on the friend, but on the sorrow i felt. They know even after many years of their silence,  call me ill act the same way i was then. No anger, no nothing. If you need me I will be there. The point here is Can yes was busy, in a relationship, having to put up with photographers, the media, etc. Thats where you say: " life gets in the way"! No problem. But to ignore your past in my opinion is just stupid! You are who you are because of that past. Own it, be proud of it. My past has alot of pain and, sorrow, but...its has
so much happiness in it too. Ill never deny it. Whats the real reason he chose to give up on his best friend??? No time, bullshit! You get vacations, be real bud. Be who you are! My best friend for 33 years had our issues but i was strong enough to get the problems resolved, just by saying im sorry and getting to the truth of the issue. Without anger. Laughter is the secret to life. Dont look back like it was a death sentence, look back with a smile. Just sayin!
