Silent Hill Game starts @ 2:12:49

This whole story makes me think of Fukushima, Chernobyl, and especially the big Exxon Valdez oil spill which happened when I was a kid. It was heartbreaking to watch the suffering animals. :(

Simon wasn't in Richard's pocket initially, that was the problem. Richard as the CEO had been bypassing all the safety inspections, including the ticking time bomb of the RCUs not being replaced because of the loss of time+money.

Simon arrives for an inspection and is an actual legit inspector, which is why the supervisor panics. That's why he makes them turn off the warning alarm and also tells Joe to just 'fix it', because Simon isn't bought off and would note all the issues. So its a mix of the facility already being dangerous + them trying to panic cover up even more because Simon is there = boom. It all caught fire, the workers couldn't get out because even the lifts were shoddy and broke and people just starting jumping off the oil rig. However the rig was already on fire + i think the oil was maybe leaking too and also on fire, so they just jumped from fire into a sea of fire and why the boats couldn't come close to help.

After it the people all had horrible burns or just awful trauma and ptsd. Most died from the burns. The rig clearly powered much of the island so the ripple effects kept happening, the island got cut off from mainland and also was deliberately cut off by the company/ceo. The fallout seems to have made the water bad too somehow. Potentially something might also be wrong with the head doctor that was yelling at Zoe.

Simon was there as an inspector but survived, but was horribly injured and needed a new heart and also had his arms at least badly burned. Zoe was the only nurse available and did surgery. Unclear whose heart Simon has and where it came from. (The organ box was in Zoe's house and had her card so it feels like its indicating that the heart was Zoe's? But that doesn't make sense since the entire surgery sequence is hers, but also could explain why she's the voice Simon keeps hearing and tunes into. I don't really like it though.)

Zoe's issues at least seems to come from a patient death, unclear if it was her fault or not but her guilt is real. She also has mixed feelings about Simon because she saved him and thought he would tell everybody the truth. But it seems that Simon had taken a deal from Richard, maybe the heart so he could live, and lie in his testimony. After the whole silent hill experience, the guilt is too much and he wants out, and either he kills richard or richard kills him. Or he stays trapped in his guilt in silent hill in some way.

I think there's a thread missing somewhere about why Richard wanted to specifically kill Zoe though, and all his attempts to get to the 10th floor but not be able to open the door hence the whole reason why he got Simon up to there so he would open the door for him. Zoe was just working at the hospital and it's just not clear why she was dangerous enough for the CEO to come kill her himself.

There is evidence through the game of Zoe disappearing, missing shifts and being late. She also "accidentally" prescribes a massive increased dosage of medication to a patient, which all may suggest she was abusing drugs (possibly) and was unable to do her job properly, resulting in massive guilt when patients died on her watch.
I think she's key to Simon's story, not only because she kept him alive, but she knew that could tell the truth. She says to Simon “I did everything I could do. But did you?”
So on one hand we have Zoe keeping Simon alive, hoping he will tell the truth, and Richard keeping him alive to lie. That's why Richard wanted Zoe gone.

I also find it interesting that during Zoe's part we are introduced to the monster that has the IV shooting out from its chest. Much like Simon's IV linked to his heart. Could her monster be Simon? Keeping her trapped in the room, the pressure to keep him alive, just for him to "betray" her with false testimony?

As I love the ending of Silent Hill, I can't stress enough how awesome and wholesome the Terrible Trio made me laugh with their playthroughs of Machine Party! I haven't laughed outloud that much in any of their get togethers in a long time! 😂 They all showed their strengths and weaknesses with gaming! That was pure feel good friend energy!!! Great job guys!

yes, the way silent hill works is that if you have ANY regrets, the fog will use that against you. so being evil or not doesnt matter, if you have regrets or guilt, youll be a victim of the fog.

The ‘bus stop’ it’s the Auxiliary aka backup line. That showed a pipe with the dotted ‘backup’ auxiliary line.

The fact that Zoe felt she was as deserving of her fate as Richard is heartbreaking. Richard has no guilt or remorse, but Zoe actually did do everything she could to help and she still feels guilty.

Not to mention the actress who plays her gives an incredible performance 😭 💔

PILGRIM has received an update recently. Would love to see you guys revisit that game!

Every time Richard speaks, all I hear is Farquaads' "Some of you may die, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make" line

Another great gameplay! Thank you for playing this!

I couldn't wait for Insym to play Machine Party with the trio, so glad it's here!

I missed part of the stream, but I'm glad I can watch the VOD. Silent Hill does have its moments of very difficult puzzles. This one was interesting because it does show a lot of symbols you would see as an electrician or engineer, so it's kind of interesting to see how they used them here. Though it can be annoying with enemies running around and one that can one-shot you. The ending was pretty sad, as most Silent Hill games do. I enjoyed this gameplay!

Considdering how the Silent Hill games tend to go, I'd guess that using the revival IVs is probably part of the outcome. It is your choice to equip any but the first after all.

Mike klubnika same guy Who made buckshot roulete

Play Bombanana with CJ and Psycho!!  That will be chaos

I thought the Silent Hill purgatory world was a result of White Claudia from the town of Silent Hill. It was in the pills in Silent Hill f, but I don't know what would actually drive a lore connection between this game and the town?

I like this game, Damn😮. But unfortunately, I don't have a PC 😅

Hold up. @1:12:50, bros never heard of the original Duck Hunt? I know he's talking about a mod, but....

i HATE how people name it 'Good', 'Bad', 'True' endings in Silent Hill games. There has never been good, true, or bad endings. What is good, bad, or true are subjective to players and people should just call it as they are, whether they're 'Abandoned', 'Leave', etc. The ones they always label right are Dog and UFO endings.
