I’ve never played Warhammer 40K or the tabletop game, but diving into the lore has been one of the best discoveries I’ve made. The depth, the darkness, the tragedy, and the sheer epic scale of everything — it’s mind-blowing. I can’t believe how much thought and imagination has gone into this universe. Watching lore videos like this one has completely hooked me, and I’m so grateful to have found such a rich, complex, and brutal story world. Huge respect to everyone who brings this lore to life — writers, artists, and content creators alike❤

In a industry where scripts are increasingly AI generated, I love the authenticity that this channel is full of

Grandfather Nurgle approves of Wes’ return.

If you've lived in pain for years or decades and can only look forward to pain, looking gross is a small price to pay for eternal life, free from pain and despair.

Let's be honest, if Nurgle didn't change the appearance of his followers, he would be thousands of times more popular.

HE HAS RETURNED!!

This feels like Guilliman coming back to the scene

The end of this video? Perfection. Genuinely, you nailed what the darkest side of Nurgle is and it's one of the things that makes me like him as a character so much: He is terrifyingly charismatic for what he is, and draws people in despite him being a literal walking plague. It's something I've noticed but not brought up just because I get tired of the whole "you're reading way too much into it, dude" thing happening. Thank you for validating that yeah, Gpa Nurgs operates like an abuser. 10/10 as always, thanks for sharing your insights with us, man.

I love the Beasts of Nurgle so much, they're basically just big dumb puppy dogs. All they want to do is play and make new friends. I'd love to read a story about a Death Guard and a Beast of Nurgle as best friends, just frolicking through a battlefield and returning home to Nurgle's gardens to romp and play until the next time they're called to battle.

Of all the horrible things Nurgle does. The torture of those poor Orks who just wanted a good scrap and to have a good time in his garden, is just horrific. And he calls himself a good host!

As a disabled man and an Aztec that has a very similar concept in our culture through Tlazolteotl, the Eater of Filth, I have always loved Nurgle. Revelling in what makes you broken is powerful, because you're also revelling in what makes you strong. Pain breeds endurance, and disabled people, sick people, know that well. I have to give props to James Workshop on that one, even if they did pull Nergal from Mesopotamia.

On a more personal note, welcome back, Wes! <3

HE'S BACK!!!!!

After the way you’ve described Nurgle’s mansion, I’d LOVE to play a Fear and Hunger style game exploring the various floors of it.

Maybe each time you die or restart, you begin again at the porch with Papa Nurgle chatting away, or giving you tips for rooms you died in.

@thecovenant3842 1 year ago

Though Papa Nurgle aledgedly feeds on despair and fear of death, those are the very things he protects his children from. Grandfather's paternal love is undisputable and true.

Aside from the...everything the way Nurgle and his garden and home are described makes me think of him as something akin to the kind old man in a small town, sitting out on his porch in a rocking chair, enjoying a drink and wishing passersby a hello or good morning/evening. And if you have the time he'll let you sit with him and share all kinds of wild and unexpected stories from his youth that he's more than happy to tell.

It's nice to know that it's not only the Orcs that are having a good time in all this grimdark

I like to think of Beasts of Nurgle singing some merry song as they hasten to embrace their new friends, not realizing how it just comes out as bellowing gurgles and snarls to those with unblessed ears.

Please never change the background song you use😂 it’s a permanent part of this channel’s incredible vibe

Shoutout to blood bowl where nuffle is king, but fear not, not only does nurgle have a team, he also has a sweet brand, at nurgle king you can have a nurgle burger, a juicy nurgling steak, rotten buns, and bretonnian blue cheese
