I know how hard it is to try to sleep in a hot room. Its literally painful, the heat makes you feel sick and you get to a point where youre so tired you just want to pass out but you cant. It breaks my heart to hear that little voice so distressed.
My family struggled with money when I was growing up In the summer we couldn’t run the air in every room because the electric bill would get the costly. So we would close off the living room and run a window unit. Then we would sleep in there on really hot nights. My mom would never tell me I had to sleep in a hot room while she enjoyed air conditioning.
I despise that lady not letting her poor kid sleep in a comfortable room. How do you now feel like shit? My heart was breaking listening to that poor baby.
If my child’s bedroom was disproportionately hot to the rest of the house you best believe they would be sleeping in my room or the living room. How selfish. The way she went back to showing her product on live with that child so distressed and un comforted is heartbreaking.
It makes me sad when people make their children chubby. It is not easy to be a chubby child and it sets them up for health problems and food addictions 😢
The rage I felt in my body when her little girl is crying about being too hot in her room and the mother went, "Okay. Anyway, I got a lint roller!" Completely ignoring her distressed child for the sake of TikTok likes and engagement.
Disgusting. Absolutely horrible. She's basically teaching her little girl that her distress and discomfort don't matter and that her own mother won't care for her during times of stress. Furious. Furious, furious, furious. People like her don't deserve children when they'll treat them like crap.
That poor baby with the hot bedroom. You can hear how exhausted she is. I can't sleep if I'm hot either. I can't believe how much she does not care. She should not be a mother.
I used to watch the Dougherty Dozen years ago before she started rage-baiting. When I watched her on YouTube years ago, she prepped lunch boxes for her children and cooked actual healthy meals. IDK when she decided to be so extreme, but it's got to be for clicks and views. She didn't used to be like that. She used to film wholesome content. I refuse to watch her now because I'm not going to add one penny to her bank account.
5 huge bags of fries, multiple 2L of soda, an ungodly amount of cheese ...and 1 small carton of eggs, 1 small bag of grapes, 1 head of lettuce 😂 priorities am I right
It's so hard for me to hear a child in distress, and then met with a reaction of annoyance and frustration, and treat the child like a they are more of an inconvenience than an actual dependent child with needs. Holy hell, either let that child sleep in your room, get off tiktok and let them sleep in the living room, or get them a fan or something. Just take care of your kids like you're thankful to have them around. You don't have to spend a ton of money... just give them your time and attention, be present, and if they have an issue about something take care of them in the best way you can.
As a person that came from a family that bought food like that I feel so so bad for those kids. It's ok to have a little bit junk but like this is nothing but junk. 5 bags of fries? And she goes twice a month so we can assume 10 bags of fries? Dear lord. That hits hard cause that was my personal binge food as a kid and oh boy did it make me obese. Like 300 lbs by age 17 kind of obese. (I'm down to 160 and working to get the rest off now as an adult) I understand there are multiple kids however ours was a big family too and it still ended in morbid obesity for the bulk of us. This hurts to watch. Way too close to home.
The “donut mom” could also give her kids a hardboiled egg for some healthy protein. If she is so exhausted, that is a solution for something healthy. Plain yogurt with precut, frozen fruit is also easy and fast. Toast. It doesn’t have to be just cereal and donuts.
