As a Texas fan, this one will sting for a long time, but what a hell of a game, as we all hope for in this tremendous rivalry game. Hats off to the boomer Sooners for the big W. #HOOKEM🧡🤍🤘🤘
Was there in the corner about 25 rows up where he made the game winning catch! Place went nuts! Glad I was able to rewatch this with the ESPN broadcast. Thanks! What a game! BOOMER SOONER!
Hearing them repeat how Sark said regulate emotions actually looks like it backfired. The Sooners looked like the more aggressive and physical team and I think playing with emotions played a big part in that!
My father passed away the previous November. It was my first RR withOUt him sitting next to me! He was DEFINITELY there in spirit! That TD catch by Anderson was one of the craziest moments!
Regardless of how the season turned out, easily one of the best RR matches. If Oklahoma can find a way to have this level of intensity every single game, the skies are the limit. I think this is what will benefit Oklahoma with going into the SEC. In the Big 12, Oklahoma was the team circled on every teams calendar. Oklahoma got everyone's best game and often times failed to be ready for that. The Sooners have a bad habbit of getting ranked in the top 6 and then blowing a game against a team they were supposed to beat soundly. This past season it was Kansas and OSU. Teams they easily should have beat if they played like this. They need to get over the glory days of the early Bob Stoops and Barry Switzer eras. Stop relying on the brand to carry them through the season and respect every team as though they are an Alabama, a Texas, a Georgia, a Clemson, etc. The beauty of OU moving to the SEC is now most of their schedule has them as either the underdogs or the very least, struggle. This means they have to put away the glory days mentality and actually come with the attitude of earning their wins. When everyone doubts OU, this is when they are at their best. Hints the coined term "Sooner Magic". See you Texas folk in #120 RR! Boomer Sooner!
