I love your mum, her no nonsense, practical and common sense approach to life is really something we can all learn from.
Good to see her.

Don’t feel guilty Mutti - people of your generation have been through terrible wars and all sorts so enjoy that sunshine ☀️. So lovely to see you again. X

Mutti is very sensible. And I love the reverence you show her - listening !!! That’s what makes you such an enjoyable presenter.

Mutti is 96!!!!.... she is amazing. I love that she said the birthday you organised for her 90th was the “worst one” 😂.. she’s brilliant..Glad to see the red lip and no eyes, fab 💋

Oh dear Jo, it did make me laugh when Mutti said her worse birthday was the one that you had organised for her 90th! 🤣😂. You didn’t even use the right tablecloth! Poor Jo, you tried. 😆

Your mum like my mum is amazing! A generation of strong women who have experienced change like no one else, like you say from war, evacuation, the 60s, technology and now covid and with a amazing attitude and smile. I love being in the company if them with their incredible tales 🔴🟡🟢

I could listen to Mutti's chatter and stories all day. Love listening to older people talk about the past. Beach looked fab, cold though!

What i love about Mutti is that she just says exactly how she feels and doesn't feel sorry for herself. She had tremendous resilience and its clear this has shaped her character. I'm a big fan!

There is something to be said for the wisdom of age. Mutti is so special, wise and positive ❤️

Lovely to see Mutti again, her comments take me back to my darling Mum, it’s that stoic generation.
Lovely to see Matilda enjoying the beach, I said goodbye to my darling Myshka of 18 years this week. I was blessed to have her company and to have the most compassionate vet.
Thank you Jo, your vlog is much appreciated . 🤗

You did make me smile Jo how you raised your voice when talking to Mutti. My Dad was very deaf and I got so used to shouting at him, that friends used to say that I was shouting at them too. Enjoy your time with her, very precious

How nice to hear your mum talking about sitting in the sun and her 21st birthday!

So happy to see Mutti again and she's looking so happy and healthy, I love her attitude and laughed so much at her memory of the wrong tablecloth! 96 years young is just incredible. I would LOVE to see the mid week vlogs back Jo xx

Oh it’s lovely to see Mutti again, in the sunshine. And Matilda in the garden. The duck was great and the music perfect for it! I can’t believe Mutti is 96 tho, she looks great! xx

Hi Jo! A reminiscer from the US here. Thank Mutti for me. I was feeling so guilty not taking my 92 yo mom out during the last year even though she said she’d rather stay home and she liked staying in. Hearing Mutti say it just made me realize my mom really does prefer to stay home over our weekly little mini-day trips we’d go on pre-2020. And my mom’s name is Muts too! Short for Mutsuko.
