It's the summer of 1928. A newlywed couple and a Spanish solo climber are bored to tears at the foot of K-Two, the "Killer Mountain." Due to poor weather conditions, dozens of people have been waiting for two months for the chance to conquer the summit. During this time, climbers from different expeditions have even forged genuine friendships. On the last day of July, nature finally gave the green light, and 22 climbers set off on their ascent. They spent the night at an altitude of 7,800 meters in the last camp before reaching the summit. And within two days, the media worldwide began to "scream" about the greatest tragedy on the deadly K-Two mountain. But can we blame the disaster solely on the mountain?
