It is not mentioned here but pefected strike has been shadow buffed from the previous game. In Sts1 exhausting a strike card would lower perfected strike damage, that is no longer the case.

For Armaments, I would also note that it can provide an upgrade substitute if you have other rest site options available such as training or the shovel. Picking an Arm in this case allows you to still have upgraded cards in your deck without using forge or spending money on a Mini Tent.

In my last Ironclad run (A9), my first 5 card rewards were Inferno, Breakthrough, Breakthrough, Inferno, Breakthrough. I figured I was either going to lose quickly or melt the enemies. It was my fastest Ironclad win to date. I did end up getting two Ruptures.

I also feel that Cinder is less reliable than Unupgraded True Grit because you commit to spending more energy, meaning you’ll have more cards and be less likely to target a card you want exhausted

I like seeing the stoke praise, I’ve been saying this card is nuts, not only is it an absurd number of exhaust triggers without actually thinking your deck too fast, it also sometimes just makes the best cards for the current situation, and random upgraded cards is a wild effect

I feel abit differently about Armaments. I feel it's premium in Act 1 in that your deck is small and largely un-upgraded and in larger fights it offers scaling, but that it just doesn't do enough as the game goes on because it takes longer to draw back into the upgraded cards and because you have more key cards upgraded.

I jsut realized I have never played Whirlwind in STS2.

A Pillage, Rage, Anger, Body Slam deck is quite entertaining 😀

Inflame is a funny card.
I generally don't think it is so great, but one game I got game piece, mummified hand, and also cloned it up to ~960 copies (bing bong)
I did have over 600 strength on turn one consistently. It was funny and quite tedious to play so many inflames

Fine fine, I'll play FTL again.

Demon Form in S-Tier on the Thumbnail is unhinged. I love it.

Havoc is such a Regent card. He actually HAS top of deck manipulation, Havoc can bypass star requirement, can exhaust random card or debris if nothing else

A tier list is just an excuse to chat about cards 👍

Ads every 5 minutes on a nearly 2 hour video is wild.

Second wind also feels bad to take when you have certain cards that you dont want to be exhausted, like forgotten ritual or evil eye, which like single targeted exhausted. It can be ok with dark embrance and a few copies of the new drum of battle card, but it still feels like a shell of its former self.

Bless you milord, this video got me my first A10 win after hours of greedily dying to elites or the stupid bugs

@SimonCleric 4 months ago

In my experience Forgotten Ritual is borderline a curse you choose to put in your deck. It just never works when you need it to...

Was looking forward to this tier list. Loved the FTL soundtrack

How the mighty Demon Form has fallen... o7.
Stone Armor is also an excellent clone-target. You're pretty much invulnerable after the second turn and just keep stacking on the plating until your other cards get drawn.
