I Left These at HomeGoods… and Now I Have REGRETS 😭🎃 | Halloween Decor Hunting 🍂

I filmed an absolutely unreasonable amount of Halloween décor at HomeGoods… so instead of narrating several centuries of shopping footage, I thought we should sit down and experience it together. 🎃🖤

In today’s Halloween décor hunt, I’m reacting to everything I found, from the hauntingly beautiful and painfully overpriced to the wonderfully weird pieces that may have actual lore. We’re discussing décor trends, styling ideas, questionable design decisions, and the items I left behind that are now haunting me from afar. 😭

Did I make a catastrophic mistake by leaving some of these behind? Which piece would you have immediately placed in the cart? Let me know in the comments!

Grab your favorite fall drink and join me for a cozy, highly opinionated Halloween shopping adventure through HomeGoods. ☕️🍂

If you enjoy cinematic Halloween décor, seasonal shopping, cozy fall inspiration, and honest commentary, please consider subscribing. There is so much more Halloween magic still to come!

I have the big castle. My mom got it for me last year for my birthday. 10/10 recommend! It lights up and also has a spooky sound effect! 🎃

Those amazing and detailed little wooden figures you loved are traditional German smokers! They are handmade in Germany and originated there in the 1800s. Each one comes apart at the waist or bottom and holds a little incense cone hidden - they're incence burners! For many of them, the smoke comes out of a hole that is their mouth, but some have the smoke coming out of a pipe...or even a witch's cauldron! They had those same two witch smokers at my Home Goods, too, and the middle one in your video smokes from her cauldron!!! They were definitely still not cheap at Home Goods, but they're like triple that price elsewhere in the wild. They usually range from $125 to $200 and up. Home Goods does get more holiday ones at Christmas time, usually. They're a common Christamas decor item, but I had never seen Halloween ones in the flesh until this year, too. I also passed them up and...REGRETS!!! LOL! I went back and they were gone. Dangit. Sigh - hopefully they'll get some in again next year. Mine only had a total of three, as well. I just loved them but was trying to be responsible with my spending and all that nonsense. 😅🤣😭 Now I feel downright IRRESPONSIBLE for letting them go at such a steal after deciding I couldnt live without them...I know you understand the pain. LOL.

Dark Harvest would be really cute! And very different! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that theme

Ghoul...I think I would have put everything in my cart back and bought that castle and mantel scarf, I could see your piano decked out with these and a couple of candlelabras! Perfection! I really enjoyed this video and I saw so many things that I either never noticed at Home Goods or they didn't get them yet but I'm going to have to make another trip there for sure. I agree with the "morbid " stuff it changed for me too for many reasons. This was great and I can't wait to see what you did get and of course what you do with it. 🧡🖤🎃👑

Omg Ghoul 👻 My Home Goods stores are packed with awesome Halloween decor but, your location is freaking amazing…I haven’t seen a lot of those items 😲🎃

We don’t have a HomeGoods in my town but this stores merch had me drooling.

Those prices on Katherine's collection are actually really good, like more than half off. I'd love her pieces but ouch!

I am really liking the Neck Of The Woods collection. Being in the midwest, it has all the midwest vibes. I've bought three or four pieces so far. They are so unique. I am going to put mine up after Halloween, for a spooky harvest theme.

Oooh loving the Neck of the Woods too🍁🍂🎃🕯

Living in a smaller city in Canada, it's so fun to see all these different items we likely won't get, so thanks for sharing! (ps would you consider making your inset video a bit smaller? I felt myself trying to peek behind you sometimes ;P )

I enjoyed shopping with you, how fun! Your Homegoods had better selections than mine. Can’t wait to see what you bought and how you decorate.

Wow, the same thing happened to me starting with last Halloween. After losing several family members and pets and dealing with a lot of darkness the last several years, I find myself automatically questioning certain decor that I never questioned before. I will always like the dark side a bit, that's just who I am. But, as far as actually decorating with skulls and bones and such, well, I guess it's in the past for me. There is still lot's of decor that I do enjoy that doesn't trigger me, so it's fine. I was just so surprised to hear someone else voice what I had been thinking. Btw, you're better than me. If I love something in the store I will buy it even if I have no idea where to put it. Or even IF there will be anywhere to put it. As long as I buy it and take it home, I'm good.

That very first item you showed - the crow on the wood stump with a jack o' lantern, wow, I was checking HomeGoods all the time and never once saw that one! // In answer to you question about is there anything about Halloween decor or imagery we don't like, I can definitely say there's one thing for sure: As a Black American, any figure hanging by the neck from a tree is not "fun" for me. I see it most commonly now in haunted house attractions and Halloween ambiance videos on YouTube.

Remember that it’s all a bunch of stuff you will have to get rid of. It’s more fun to reuse practical items like one or two fall mugs and a cozy blanket or a pillow or two. Use candles and fruits and pine cones to decorate. Plastic is tacky and wealthy people don’t buy junk. We buy the junk and that’s why they are wealthy 💔
