Relax and paint with me as I create a colorful onion still life on a 6" x 6" x 1" wood box.

In this Sunday Paint With Me, I’ll take you through my process for building the onion, mixing colors, creating form, and making decisions as the painting develops. Along the way, we’ll also break away from the still life to explore one of my favorite parts of painting—adding patterns and unexpected details.

This isn’t about making a perfect copy of an onion. It’s about slowing down, experimenting with color, enjoying the painting process, and seeing where a simple subject can take us.
