In this episode, Taylor Halverson and Mike Harris conclude their study of Isaiah by exploring Isaiah 58–66, where the prophet's final message centers on true covenant living, the gathering of Israel, and God's everlasting comfort. They examine Isaiah's teachings on sincere fasting, Sabbath worship, Zion's rising light, the mission of the Messiah, and the covenant promises that extend to all nations. Along the way, they connect these closing chapters with Christ's ministry, the Book of Mormon, temple worship, the gathering of Israel, and the Lord's enduring commitment to redeem His people through His everlasting covenant.

You will discover how Isaiah teaches that true fasting transforms lives through justice and compassion, why Zion is called to arise and shine, and how Isaiah 61 became the Savior's declaration of His earthly mission. The hosts explore the beauty of covenant renewal, receiving a new name, the mission of the temple, God's unwavering lovingkindness (hesed), the promise of a new heaven and new earth, and the Lord's invitation for every nation to gather to Zion. They also unpack Isaiah's vision of Christ's atoning sacrifice, the Second Coming, and the eternal comfort prepared for all who faithfully remain in covenant with God.

This conversation invites us to see Isaiah as a witness of Jesus Christ from beginning to end. Every chapter points toward God's covenant faithfulness, every promise reflects His everlasting love, and every invitation calls His children to come home to Him. Isaiah's final testimony assures us that the Lord remembers His people, gathers them from every nation, comforts those who trust Him, and fulfills His covenant through Jesus Christ, whose salvation extends to every generation.
