While you didn't find anyone at Home Depot to help with a project you did help a lot of people make decisions on what they needed to buy, that is also very helpful.

I think it may be worth just creating a link where people who follow you can submit their project and you can pick the ones that you like to film and help with.

Bro, you're overthinking it. Just walk up and say, “Hey, I'm Graham. I have a YouTube channel where we help people with home projects. Is there anything you could use a hand with?” Then listen and take it from there. Keep it simple, natural, and genuine.

Wear a small sandwich board - "ASK ME for FREE HELP with your project"

Make a big cardboard sign that says "free project help for today" and hold it standing in front of the home depot. yay!

I feel like Home Depot would love to partner with you - get them to set up a proper event where folks can get advice or even sign up for project help.

Make a shirt to wear with your YouTube channel and when you begin talking, introduce yourself and have your channel pulled up on your phone. This way the people can witness your brilliance and see what a blessing they are about to receive… then say “Would you be willing for me to come to your home to help with a project, for free?”

Here early! Love the channel and this show idea. Maybe you can wear a shirt or sign that says, "Ask me about your DIY projects?" or "Free carpenter"

I admire your courage to walk around and try to connect with people. I like the shirt or button idea with a prompt stating you are offering free help. 🥰

The advice and the comedy bits were great!  Entertaining content while failing to find someone to help until the plot twist. 😂

I really like this format, feels so real as you try to approach people. It's tough, but the struggle is relatable haha. Magical too if you find the right person

Aloha! Man.... I wished you lived on my Island. I would be screaming with joy if I saw you walking the aisle! I met my Handyman at Home Depot by all the caulking when I was a deer in headlights. He saw my struggle, asked what my project was and was at my house the following day. He did said project for me and will be here in a couple of days to help me with another.  You will find someone who TOTALLY appreciates your skills.....

Good Luck &
CONGRATULATIONS to the person you get to help!

Aloha!

I want to adopt Graham to come and work at my place for a few weeks.  I'm in FL and can provide food, temporary housing and of course, pay for the work.  Seriously.  Amazing work, amazing brain for solving problems.  A true gem of a handyman.

Graham!  Please come to my home anytime.  I would love to have you help with repairs.  You are a super star ⭐️! I can’t believe you’re not being mobbed for autographs!!

This sounds dumb but maybe walk around with a shirt that says Handyman at your (free) service and a QR code with your youtube channel linked!

"Hey I can help you with your caulk, I'm a handyman and this will be filmed"

just help Alexandra and Matt!! That was fun!

They were so fortunate that you were able to help them instead. Anyone who says yes to you is very fortunate.

Make a giant button or placard to wear that says “Need free help with your project? Ask me!” And print some photos of your projects to show them - a small portfolio.

Man of many talents. Thank you for the inspiration.🌟
