Not me watching this while being native

Level 10: understands Chilean

One does not simply compare himself to Viggo.

Viggo not only speaks with a Rioplatense (porteño) accent, his mannerisms, his slang, it's all so good that he sounds just as if he'd lived all his life in Buenos Aires

As an Argentinian Viggo is literally just native, the guy spent a big amount of his childhood here and he speaks the language pretty much natively.

I am a native Argentine; Vigo speaks as a native middle class guy from Buenos Aires.

Ben Afleck's Spanish is sooo funny. His voice and body language change completely, it is like  someone else is taking over his body and mind for a little while.

Viggo Mortensen speaks Argentine Spanish and to me he sound 100% native from Buenos Aires. Greetings from Buenos Aires.

Anyone learning Spanish knows that Viggo is the gold standard and Paltrow is our relatable and obtainable goal.

*She just flows with it beautifully even with a little mistake here and there*

Is there ANYTHING Viggo can't do? Horsemanship, acting, singing, painting, poetry, languages, looking gorgeous-he is a Renaissance Man.

I'm a native spanish speaker fluent in english, and whenever a foreigner tries our language I'm grateful to them. Just the effort means a lot.

Viggo sounds pure porteño. I am Argentinean myself.

I'm a native Spanish speaker, I don't know why I'm watching this video but I'm enjoying it so much, I'm trying to improve my English by practicing daily. I wish I had these actors' confidence when I need to speak in English, especially Jack Black's.

Lo que pasa con Vigo es que no sólo habla como porteño. También piensa como porteño y sobre todo es hincha de San Lorenzo. Con eso te dije todo. Abrazo desde Pinamar.

As a native spanish (from Spain) I love to see people from other countries speaking spanish even if they don't do it well....

I'm not sure why I watched this whole video, as my native language is Spanish. It was fun.

as a porteño myself, Viggo is unbelievable

Years ago while travelling in South America, my bf wanted to say to the people from the hostel to enjoy their meal, not knowing 'bon provecho' he confidently called out 'feliz comer' 😅 They loved it 😂

Im American/Cuban. 1st generation born out of Cuba. Father's side Cuban. Mom is American adopted. English decent. I spoke predominantly English growing up because my spanish "was not berry good lookin" and I would get embarrassed. My girlfriends grandmother  (at the time) told me in Spanish "how can you be embarrassed, when you speak two languages" and from that day forward I never was shy or embarrassed to mispronounce a word. Most of the time when I speak to someone in Spanish they only know Spanish.....it dawned on me. That was when I was 18. Im now 40 with two children and needless to say I am fluent in both languages and am eternally grateful for her words of wisdom.
