His name was Dylan Andres Lindsey. He was a 24-year-old resident of Torrance. He died of his injuries in the hospital on May 16th, about a week later.

Probably could have used the news cameras to peek inside the vehicle.

The cop tried to hide behind that suv and that person in there was like no no no and luckily backed away as quickly as they could. That must have been terrifying, they almost became a human shield for the police.

We have one reporter calling the SWAT APC a “bobcat” and another reporter claiming that a long revolver looks like a Desert Eagle...which isn’t a revolver. What, did they go out and find the most unqualified people possible to cover this story

Dylan Andres Lindsey, 24, killed a liquor store owner a day or two earlier. After this standoff, Lindsey died the next day of gunshot wounds, one of which was self-inflicted. The driver, his girlfriend Alison Hart of Redondo Beach (13 years his senior), is pleading not guilty and somehow posted a $2 million bond. Cannot find any more info about the trial even though it has been two years. Allegedly she was the getaway driver during the fatal robbery so not sure why she is pleading not-guilty.

Those Bearcats are right next to the suspect car and they can clearly look in, but they still couldn't determine if he was dead or alive after over half an hour? What a waste of time and resources.

I’ll NEVER understand why a full battalion of cruisers need to be there - and why is “aid” requested after 62 rounds have been put in the suspect.

Legend has it they are still there...

Honestly I’m shocked he lived til the next day. Thought for sure he would’ve bled out by the time they got to him

The fact that they show up with all 110 cars they got around there means this would be the greatest time ever for ANY crook there to commit ANY other type of crime.
