😂😂😂 the essential transformation of the Trekking poles is excellent ... however, I would forget about "Steve" .

I have carried the lock thingy for years. I only use it occasionally, however, depending on the hotel and area it is priceless. Twice it has kept possibly nefarious people who tried to open our door in the middle of the night out. One person in a hotel had items stolen in the middle of the night while they slept, all they heard was the door latching when the intruder left.

Ha! What blast last summer was! Miss you guys!🤪

Her reaction to that thingy…priceless! 👏🏻
A good kick is all it would take. I walk with God and in peace.

You guys ever seen the movie Jumanji? Remember the hunter that comes out of the game? This guy reminds me of him, I think its the hat

It would be a very helpful piece. Thank you for sharing. ❤

I may be crazy but my Camino will have essential oils! That's my go to for everything!

Awesome video! New to Shell Toucher. I ordered a sling bag!

Great video and love the tips. Looking forward to our first Camino in September!

[Pilgrim who walked from Prague to Santiago here (took me ten years0] That sling bag is a poor substitute for the Sea-to-Summit backpack, which has a zipper so can be used for sending gear ahead or on airplane as checked.

Please tell us more about that cool pith helmet hat. Looks so cool and light.

So many technical terms involved in the Steve.😂

Jamie from Texas here.. You guys are the best! You mix important information with humor and you always make me laugh... and learn. Great combination!
Your special guest, Shell-toucher, has some nice ideas.
I have considered replacing my fanny pack I've used on the last two Camino's... sometimes it is a bit clumsy... trying to get my phone / camera out quickly to take a photo or video...
Sometimes I only need a single item but... especially near the end of a long walk and I am nearing exhaustion... when I open my fanny pack, some items spill out on the ground when I'm trying to simply get out my pilgrim passport. All while trying to hold on to at least one walking stick.
But my biggest problem with the fanny pack, is that it tends to get wet because I sweat so much. I have to store all my paper pilgrim passport, real passport, any money, etc... in plastic baggies.
Maybe the sling bag is a better option?
I've never seen a water bottle with a hydration hose. I use a 3 liter hydration pouch in my pack... on some of my longer stages... 30-36 km, I've drained all 3 litters before the end. But that water bottle system is worth considering!

@stevefoster1511 5 months ago

That lock thingy only works for doors that open out. At least that’s how mine works.

@angiebee598 3 months ago

I've use my trekking poles minus the part he added or used my water bottle to roll out my calves.

@AidaJof 5 months ago

Great funny video, guys. All my essentials ie., passport, credenciales, money, phone I carry always inside my over-the-shoulder pouch; when I reach a cafe to use the bathroom, I order something, leave my backpack, hat & palo at the table, but my pouch goes with me.

Yes, happy to hype the video🤗

@WheresSancho-b8r 5 months ago

I would add a theracain.

@patrickculleton9939 5 months ago

No to the hydration system. Stop for a few moments, take breath and take a drink from your water bottle. Unless you are in a race with other pilgrims you haven't even met.
