Drop me an album i still gotta check out before 2026 ends!

the reason it sounds "thornhilly" is because it's mixed by the same guy who mixed Bodies, Sam Bassal!

Underrated album, they deserve much more attention

Their bridges in all songs are A-MA-ZING

Last Time is legit one of my favorite songs of the year. Loved this album.

AMAZING! they deserve so much more credit and attention. spread it out!

Finally someone did this!
Banger as usual

Such a phenomenal continuation to their last album. Rare to see such good albums back to back!

Saw them play this front to back the week it came out and it was absolutely incredible. What a band

gonna pay for the Patreon for a month specifically to watch this entire review / reaction

I love this album. It's definitely their best. People need to get this on their radar.

After you made the video about severance i started listening to them and oh my god they became one of my favorite bands of the year. I'm so thankfull for getting to know them through you. Album is such a banger🔥

Man I’ve been waiting for this! I love this band so fucking much

So glad you're feeling this album as much as I am. I would have thought Imminence would be the album on repeat for me this week, but it's been all Banks Arcade. Vibe city.

Banks Arcade peaked at their first album in 2022 and that’s a blessing and a tragedy.

They give me a little bit of ISSUES vibe also... I miss that band. This album fucking slaps

Haste the Day - Dissenter was a 10/10 for me, every song in there is amazing

bogdan you’re my first place superstar

dude, EASILY album of the year for me. been spinning it sooooo much ever since the day it released

They do pop metalcore really tastefully. It uses a lot of pop/modern rap cliches, but it feels self-aware. The guitar work is really nice and the vocals are unreal; I love sing-screaming in general, but this dude especially kills it. I want a band that has a heavy focus on sing-screaming.

You’re right about the drum work, as well. It pulls everything together and keeps the energy exactly where it needs to be.

The production is also A+

By the way, I think the split is intentional. He starts arrogant and feeling on top of the world, and then he realizes he’s alone, nobody cares, and he’s not as much of a superstar as he thought (second place superstar). That’s why it uses a lot of cliches from the pop world (“All I do is win win win no matter what,” shit like The Weeknd bragging about fucking girls and being the best, etc.
