Martin, so pleased to see you returning to the fuller format tutorials. Don't get me wrong, the 'shorts' are very entertaining in themselves, but they are over so quickly and your longer videos are so helpful in terms of generating ideas and understanding some of the techniques that you use in your work. I hope you have both the time and see the value in your longer pieces, because those of us who watch them, certainly do! All the best.

Telling a story with my art, even if it is not specific, really adds depth to it that I never would have realized.

Sad, poignant and beautiful. I love the story behind this picture❤. Bravo!👏🏾

Martin I have to tell you I have been on YouTube since it was created in 2005.  I went back to sketching in 2012 and have followed many artists in that time. I must say that your tutorials are up there at the top of the list. I love the way you teach inking, it is the BEST. Thanks so much for doing this videos, as a video editor I know the time involved, so thank you for your time, skill and talent. 11.7 thousand followers prove this statement. Keep at it pls.

Really enjoyed this tutorial, Martin.  Great idea of taking photos and saving a copy to black and white for studying tones. Thank you!

Super glad you got another full length video out! I think I’ve watched the others multiple times. I am sure these longer videos are more work for you but I hope they keep coming!

I make time for long form content like this. It’s really helpful seeing someone skilled make decisions that lead to the final product. I also appreciate his low-key excitement for his work; there’s none of this classic self-hype here that permeates much content on YT

I LOVE your story. When you connected the dress, WOW. I love this so much. I’m going to have to rewatch and try to sketch along. You have a new fan 🙋🏻‍♀️

I, too, am very happy to see another full-length video.
Whether it is an art tutorial or a review of your sketchbook, or even reviewing some recently purchased art supplies - I don't mind.  I just enjoy hearing your thoughts.  😊

Hi Martin, thank you so much for letting others into your private space of thoughts, feelings and imagination. I find it really helpful to listen to you as you work, it helps me look around my personal space and see it with different eyes. Leah from Orange, Colour City of Australia🍁🍂

Great tutorial Martin, thanks so lot 👍

Thank you for the full tutorials.
You have opened up my world of art.
I love the pen and ink style.
And finishing with the beautiful watercolor.

Absolutely love this little scene. Thank you for the workflow

Excellent  tutorial  Martin and Beautiful  Drawings 👍

Love to work in inks. Found a cheap set of black ink pens that would break down in a cool blue and a warm red. Made every picture so awesome. I have looked for a few years and have never found another pen that could do that.  Thanks for the video 👩‍🎨

You are my favorite artist. Your style is what I love and I am finally clear on my Niche! I was in architectural design for years. Now I understand why I love the lines and the character each structure can express. How do you make those little ink splashes with your fountain pen that I've seen you do?

This is such a lovely tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing your techniques.

Superb tutorial 👌🏾 thanks for sharing your techniques.

Amazing art. Thank You.
