How did Sedat Peker become so powerful? How did he come to be known as "Reis" (The Boss), and why, years later, did he become a name followed by millions?
This documentary examines Sedat Peker's story, from his childhood and youth to the crime files of the 1990s, from the Susurluk era to Operation Butterfly, from the Ergenekon process to political rallies, and to the videos he released in 2021.
For years, Sedat Peker's name has been associated with murder investigations, organized crime cases, prison years, relationships with politicians, charitable activities, and statements that caused a great stir in the public.
With the videos he released in 2021, many topics such as Mehmet Ağar, Süleyman Soylu, Yeldana Kaharman, Sezgin Baran Korkmaz, Kutlu Adalı, SADAT, drug routes, and the marina in Bodrum were brought back to the agenda in Turkey.
This documentary chronologically examines the allegations made by Peker, the responses to these allegations, and how the perception of him as "Reis" (Leader) and "Sedat Abi" (Brother Sedat) developed over the years.
Why did people, years later, seek help, information, and even justice from a name once associated with crime and fear?
And returning to the sentence at the beginning of the whole story, only one question remains:
What did Sedat Peker really plan?
The allegations in this documentary are attributed to the individuals involved. Counter-statements and known legal processes are also presented in separate sections. SECTIONS
