R.I.P Parenti 😢

I'm several years into my de-programming at this point, but this video is such a enlightening presentation that further reshapes my understanding of the world.  Quite literally the history they don't teach you in school.

That's quite the cover of "Waiting For the Worms". "The Wall" was the first full Pink Floyd album I ever heard, and its use here in the historical context is just gorgeously done.

As someone who struggles with reading, I really appreciate your long form videos. Definitely the most underrated communist channel I've found.

This video was randomly recommended to me by yt. The editing is so good, attention to giving credit when yt is going through a plagiarism crisis is so much appreciated. Subbed!! I’m from Turkey so more knowledge about these times and context is always very helpful. Thank u for the video

edit: captions would be great, I can help you with that if you’d like

Michael Parenti was a gift!

When history rhymes.

I just finished reading Parenti's book and I immediately searched for videos talking about it. I had no idea you made this documentary but I am so glad you did. I can't convince many people to read books, but videos are a much easier sell.

This is a banger. Thanks for your efforts

Your channel is surprisingly small for such excellent quality.  I've watched a few of your videos, but I see many that are unfamiliar -- might not be getting notifications(?).

I'm currently reading Eric Hobsbawm's Age of Extremes; it's clarifying some blindspots I had about the rise of American political power.

Thanks again for a great video essay. I love Parenti and this would make him proud.

You should do some Mike Davis documentaries!

for some reason this passed me by in my feed, but seeing Part 2 in my feed caught me up. i gotta say, this is some masterfully done editing, you broke up the subject pretty perfectly for someone like me, who needs little study breaks every so often (even for stuff i'm really familiar with!), like just as my attention is starting to wane, you stop narrating and war footage of people dancing along to a techno remix of "bella ciao" starts up, just long enough to make my brain go "wait whuhhhhuh?" and reset itself before you start back up again. it's really well done.

would love to see you do this treatment to some of domenico losurdo's work!

This book is one of the most influential in shaping my current worldview. Thank you for sharing.

I’ve recommended this book to others many times. This is an excellent doc made of it. GREAT JOB!!!!!

Thank you very much for using my cover! Very well done!

Fantastic video! Long live Parenti!

Parenti is the G.O.A.T. without doubt!
