if youre using printed photos, put modpodge on first

I spray my photos with Varathane sealer and ive never had a problem with bleeding.    I cut the photo to size first, then make sure I’ve sprayed one side, let it dry, then spray the other side, making sure the raw edges are also sealed.

Thank you, I'm going to try to make resin charms for a project and this helped a lot!

Little tip.. make them upside down so there won’t be a hard “edge” because of the epoxy clawling the sides of the mold

Another way to save having to draw
on moulds is half or quarter fill it
With clear and then you have the
Perfect size template 😱😱😱😱😱

Modge podge works great!

Thank you for this tutorial!

A tip:  I use laser jet printed photos  to place on tumblers all the time with resin and do not have an issue.  What I do is spray the photos with Polycrylic by Minwax which works well 😊

For  the laminating...my laminator allows to select between two settings for thickness.   I use the thicker one, run the item face up, then run through a second time face down.   After the second pass, while still warm and malleable, take tooth pick (or other blunt thing) to run right next the the edge of the photo, eliminating the SLIGHT "bubble" at the edges of the photo.   You can cut a bit closer, and it doesn't have as much chance of showing a border around the picture.   Just my take on it.

Too cute! I'm actually working on two projects right now that I need to add photos to, Thanks!

Very helpful video thank you so much. Liz 😊

I laminate the photos, then I put in the candle and cover with the gell wax without a wick let harden and then add a wick on top add scented wax and it all good

X-Acto knife around the photo on the outside of the tray. Or trace surrounded on the backside of the paper because that’s more waterproof. Sometimes with moisture when you touch the printed side it smears.

Very inspirational, thank you!

Thanks for the detailed information.

Thank very detailed. Appreciate it bin working on stuff now involving photo😊

Is the normal printer picture printed on normal white paper or photo paper?

Love all your videos. Thanks for sharing! I found inkjet resin photo paper no need to seal. It was more expensive, but time is $ for me. I make a lot of photo pendants

Super helpful thank you !

- - - -       I currently have 2 pieces of wood:
1  oil stained and covered in Tongue oil,

The 2nd one is professionally/commercially coated with something I cannot identify (not a stain).  Instead appears a solid color coating like  wood  furniture might have.

on both pieces I want to mount a photo,     then  cover   both  in  RESIN.

Well done I learnt a lot thank you .
