One of the greatest horror stories ever written. A personal favorite if mine.

In my humble opinion is this Howard at his very best. It's a really creepy atmosphere he creates here. Sad how it was only published after his death.

I only just heard this classic for the first time a few weeks ago, and now here's Ian treating us to his rendition. What a lovely evening!

Wow! I don't often need to turn on a light when listening to a scary story, but this one got me. Great story, and what a twist!

Read this in paperback form back in the 70s. Liked it then and remembered it well 50 years later. Your narration adds to forcefully to its narrative. Thank you for adding to a memory

A great horror story, one of Howard's best.

This story has a bit of everything in it that I like: plantations, the old south, mystery, a bit of Horror and intrigue. I love your southern accent , Ian.
