The Stormtroopers being gentlemen and opening doors for the women on your team was not something I expected, but is fitting

This is how I learned R4 is a girl

0:29 "Many levels in this game dont even give you a single woman"

TIL women can’t tow bombs

One of the Naboo Starfighters is piloted by a woman in The Phantom Menace, so you could use that to tow.

Great concept. But can you beat a woman using only lego star wars?

Bechdel Test going CRAZY in 2026

I have 2 ship-related notes.
Firstly, the Republic cruiser minikit from Negotiations is, of course, the ship from the opening of the film, the Radiant VII, captained and piloted by Maoi Madakor, and I don’t think any kits in Negotiations are inaccessible, so that should handle the minikit bonus levels. (Her copilot, Antidar Williams, is male, but for all intents and purposes, I think this should count.)
As for tow bombs…okay, this one’s pretty much just cheating. Technically the snowspeeder vehicle doesn’t have a specific pilot — yes, in story mode player 1 is obviously Luke and Dak, and player 2 is presumably Wedge. But, one of the snowspeeder pilots in the Battle of Hoth, Samoc Farr, was a woman, so, at least in free play, you could almost kinda sorta technically claim/headcannon that the snowspeeder is piloted by a woman. Maybe.

I’m honestly shocked that the small character hatches never caused a fail once

Next you should do “Can I beat LEGO Star Wars as a woman?”

I love this video, as a girl gamer, i used to play as the girls in lego games whenever i could, and it always annoyed me how much the female characters were an afterthought in the earlier lego games

For short characters, I'd say Jawa could count. Their figure in the game is just a general representation of the species, and with the robes you can't really tell male or female instances apart. It could totally be a Jawa woman under there!

Here’s a video idea: Can you beat Lego Star Wars with unnamed characters? An example would be someone like a stormtrooper, a clone trooper, an imperial officer. Basically anyone that the game doesn’t tell you the real name of.

I remember maining Raptor Handler Jenny in Lego Jurassic World because she could do so many things despite being such a non important character.

I am very glad you mentioned that R4 is female. Most people don’t really know that and it shows you did your homework.

If you allows droid referred to as "she", then you should allow ships referred to as "she" as well, especially if it doesn't show the pilot. The Millennium Falcon, for example, would then be a viable option.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Naboo Starfighter can tow bombs and we see some women piloting it in the Phantom Menace so you could pull a few strings and say that gunship cavalry and any other bomb levels are possible

10:24 there is actually a speedrun trick called Falconless which allows finishing the level without freeing the Milenuim Falcon, which does not require driods. So, with this skip the level becomes possible.

If I recall correctly, it was revealed in the sequels that women were allowed to become stormtroopers, because a certain stormtrooper in The Force Awakens is later confirmed to be female, & the First Order was born from the remnants of the Empire. In LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, there's a generic Stormtrooper you can play as. Put these facts together, and you (possibly) could've gotten the red brick in the Darth Maul level.

If you use some creative interpretation, 4-6 is also beatable in story mode. In the movies, there's a Y-wing that survives the Battle of Yavin, and the new canon has established the pilot to be Evaan Verlaine, an Alderaanian woman. So, if you assume the Y-wing you play as is the surviving Y-wing from the films, you can beat story mode while still playing as a woman if you beat the whole level as Player 2.
There's also a female TIE Interceptor pilot, Ciena Ree, who, while not visible in the movie, is said to have piloted a TIE Interceptor in the Battle of Endor according to the Lost Stars novel, so assuming she flies the TIE Interceptor, you can open TIE doors.
One woman, Dineé Ellberger, flew an N-1 Starfighter during the Battle of Naboo, so that could be used for the tow cable ship slot. Alternatively, another commenter mentioned Samoc Farr, who flew a Snowspeeder in the Battle of Hoth.
Interestingly, you can also apply this challenge to collect every Kyber Brick in the Skywalker Saga, since there's at least one woman in every character archetype.
