Watching this video definitely helped me replace belt and cables on my 2006 HRX mower. Putting it all back together was also most helpful.

Great video!  No instruction manual will give you this detail. Very well done.  Tough work made easy.

Only thing I would have done differently, because I'm never going in there again, I would have power washed and blown out all of the built up debris and washed all of the parts.

Good video.  My clutch assembly needed a slight tug from behind with a puller to get it  off the crank shaft.  Very helpful video

Man o live,youre a lifesaver! This is a great video. Ive had my hrx217 k6vla since 2019 and by last fall the belt was shot. I bought the belt in a 2 pk from honda in November, but i couldnt find a video that was a good enough aid to feel confident to replace it myself. Mine doesnt have the blade clutch,so that shouldnt be a problem, but wow thetes alot of sublte nuisances to changing a honda belt. If a guy went into it blind hes liable to get lost. Thank you so much for making and sharing this video

It took several videos to find the exact 217 but I'm glad I found yours! I damn sure wasn't going to buy a manual especially since it's not my mower.  Thanks a ton!

Im an hvac tech/installer so mechanical stuff doesnt scare me however, this is far more work than i feel like it should be to replace a belt that can easily dry rot over time 😂 gotta love engineers. I just bought my first house and bc i am low on money , i was gifted a gcv 160 honda mower. With my luck though the belt was dry rotted and now ive gotta fix it. Thanks to you though it shouldnt be a problem.
