Thank you for an ordinary user feedback on your purchase. I like the improvements, and the trigger straight out of the box is excellent.
Regarding the straight pull lever, this is quite small and for hunting that isn’t I believe a problem. But an hour’s shooting on the range or in your garden and a sure trigger finger is a certainty. Have fed that back to Company Zbroia who do appear to listen to customer feedback.
Their factory and shop are amazing. Products include Biathlon stocked air rifles, tanks and - groan - foot pumps. The shop stocks a range too of revolvers. But the range of products here is limited to the Hortitsia models, the Kozak (or Cossack) bullpup and Sapsan.
I like a bolt action which is no surprise as I preferred the SMLE No.4 to its replacement, the L1A1 SLR. Like the Lee Enfield the Hortitsia can put out a high rate of fire (ROF) but without the noise or need for a very substantial backstop.
The brass thingy is a stud, it just pops into the bush in the forearm, then you spin an Allen key inside it to extend a couple of little arms inside the stock. Then you can add a strap or bipod. Thanks for the review, I've had my eye on one of these for a year or so now, nice little guns.
I have the mk2 the same as you where reviewing, the brass bit is a mounting stud for a sling or bipod , be careful they go in ok but can be a pig to get out again, you can fill to 300 bar but i fill mine to 250 ,they are tested to 450 bar ,you didn't mention they are regulated, witch works well, brilliant rifles for the money, 😁👍
I have the Kozak which is similar in operation, If you want to be a bit "Safer" Take rifle out of stock, Unsrew little Grub screw to side on rear of Block & twist the brass Screw with 2 little holes in it at the rear of the action about 1/4 to 1/2 a turn and nip back up on side grub/Locking screw. Absolutely cracking rifles coming from Zbroia and if you have a good Regulator they are very consistant try QYS, H&N Baracuda FT and JSB Heavies 7 Exacts they all work well in my Kozak Kev
Wanted one couldn't find a local RFD that sold them, ended up with a BSA Ultra CLX but I'm already looking at getting the Hortitsia mk2 as a second rifle
Hi, enjoyed your review.👍 How is the gun now? Do you still own it and what are your thoughts on it now? I'm looking to buy a PCP and love how these look. They seem really well made. Any advice or problems to be aware of?
