In this video were going to be building the GP40 I designed! This locomotive took around a year and a half to design, prototype, and build. I've gotta say she turned out EXCELLENT! This locomotive is going to definelty be featured more on my channel, especially when we start building a railroad in my back yard.

15:35 Next time you mask, shoot a light coat of yellow, let it dry and then paint all your black. The yellow paint will run under your mask instead of the black paint! When you peel the mask it'll be 100% perfect!

Love it! My only recommendation is to put a Kill Button at the back of it where the Engineer can reach it when moving that would instantly shut off all power. This would be a "Just in Case" the app controll un-links itself.

Gotta get some of those 12 volt automotive mini air horns and replace the digital horn with a real one. That will really be the icing on the cake.

Maybe some limiting chains on the trucks might help you avoid tearing the wires again when it Derails

Ive only just discovered your channel. I have a 1km garden track in england. Your skills for someone so young are awesome. Im 60 and my efforts compared to yours are pathetic lol🤣 congrats well done👍

This is your life now, you realize that right? No more airplanes... no more other hobbies. You now need to build trains... lots of trains. I have zero interest in trains... but watching you build these things is absolutely fascinating. Great job! I tell people that my hobby is watching other people do their hobbies really well. You're now on that list. I'm now subscribed. Keep it up.

I would add on some pins and guides to limit how much the trucks can pivot, 30° to each side should be the maximum amount of pivot, though it also depends on the tightest curve of your club's railroad too.

I’m sure you will never read this but I have been having a tough go of it recently diagnosed with spina bifida aswell as a whole host of other issues. And this video comes close to a childhood dream toy lol I always wanted a train big enough for me to sit in and feel like an adult 😂
