As someone who always maxes out my heart containers (until BOTW and TOTK, where I go for stamina first), these are indeed some of the pieces that drive me insane.

The one in Wind Waker where you have to complete a game of Battleship in under 20 shots on a completely random board

One I think is rage inducing is getting the one in the Goron Dungeon in the moon in Majora's Mask, all because of how easy it is to bounce Goron Link out into the void, forcing you to start over.

Here is a nice little tip for the savage labyrinth. You can use the grapple hook on the enemies and it will give you things, most notably recovery hearts.

The two I think of immediately are the mail sorting in Wind Waker and the archery mini game in Phantom Hourglass. The Phantom Hourglass one had me doing it over and over again for an hour straight before I was finally good enough to lock in and do it perfectly.

3:10 In the Japanese version of the game the reward is a life-sized slap in the face-a measly yellow rupee. The Heart Piece was originally under Link’s house in the area where you have to crawl to reach. It was replaced with an orange rupee to accommodate the Heart Piece being in the Savage Labyrinth in the overseas version.

1:58 In the HD version, this Piece of Heart is instead replaced by the Hero’s Charm. That last Heart Piece is hidden somewhere else in the overworld.

For OOT getting under 1 minute the second go around in the dampe race in his grave is definitely the hardest one in the game. You have to avoid all the fire damage and not get caught on anything *

I’m one of the few who actually beat the savage labyrinth in wind waker on first try but I already had a lot of hearts and possibly 2 to 3 fairies so I was prepared 😅

Oots hardest should definitely be the dampe race. Bombchu bowling i got the heart piece (and bomb bag) first try that they popped up. Dampe race? I dont even wanna admit how many tries it took me

Dodoh's high dive is actually very easy if you plan your landing on where the spot you want to land will be. I always use it to farm rupees because its so easy.

Savage Labyrinth is so easy, I'd rather run through it 6 times in a row than have to visit another reef or blind luck my way through the Windfall battleship minigame
