The US Navy is fighting Iran with a fleet that carries no one. Copied attack drones, robot strike boats, sleepless spy planes and crewless submarines now do the striking, the watching and the mine hunting across the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran built its whole strategy on one bet: whatever America sent into the strait would have people inside it. Cheap mines, fast boats and one-way drones were priced to make every crewed warship a gamble. So the Navy changed the bet. We take this hybrid fleet apart machine by machine, from a drone reverse-engineered from Iran's own Shahed to a submarine that maps a minefield with no one aboard, and we show why a fleet that learns to change may matter more than a fleet that simply grows.
