Man even 10 seconds in the markets can make you a billionaire

The stupidest part of the movie is that he gambles and does dumb magic tricks rather than sits in an air-conditioned room having a gourmet meal and TRADE🧠

Not a bad movie, but it had the misfortune of being released at the same time as a little art film called Iron Man.

The stupidest part of this whole film is that he could have found a way of disarming the guy while getting credit from the casino for saving them.

starts off with gambling, then a nuclear bomb threat...

Jessica Biel in her prime, Nicolas Cage is one of the biggest movie stars and Hollywood was not afraid to experiment with interesting screenplay ideas. What an amazing time it was!

Fun fact: Next is based on Philip K. Dick’s short story The Golden Man, where the main precog has no human logic and relies purely on foresight to survive - he doesn't think he just reacts and picks the optimal path. Since Nic Cage's 2-minute vision limit suddenly breaks when he meets Liz, it makes me wonder if Liz became pregnant and created the Golden Man which is what actually unlocked his ability to see much further into the future.

If he can see 2 minutes into the future he wouldn't pick up the gun. This film would drive me mad.

That "enhance-enhance..." scene was like asking ChatGPT for more details to an argument you know is pure B.S. 😂😂😂

The weird part isn't that government agents are trying to track down someone with such abilities. The weird part is that the terrorists are.

The location of the Native American tribe's village is also where a young Japanese tourist was attacked and murdered by a local member of the tribe. This happened when she walked down the trail in the evening from her room at an inn. This was her first time on a trip to the US and was one of her dreams. The killer met her on the trail and offered to give her a guided tour of the village. He took her on a secluded path, attacked then murdered her for her money. So tragic.
