The good old times when they not wore latex gloves😂 thanks and like always very informative.

I had my dentures relined 34 years ago using a 2 ninute plaster cast, 1  day latter dentures were back in my mouth with great suctions ..yes same denture and no problems today ....this method is the only way it should be done !!!

because rubber based material is super sticky to gloves.  No gloves before the 80's.  Only started wearing gloves due to the HIV/AIDS fear.
She looks close to 50 to me.  I'm usually pretty bad at judging one's age though.

I've worked in dental for 15 years and I couldn't imagine not using gloves. I started in prosthodontics..I couldn't stick my bare fingers in a patients mouth for impressions or adjusting dentures😂😂

I worked n the dental lab for over 30 yrs never wore any gloves and I pin and poured impression did rebases ...never caught hepatitis A or B.. and if there was an AIDS patient the doctor is instructed to write that on the prescription.....all we did is rinse the impressions out ..and when ur working and using a lathe grinding or changing out different chucks a rubber glove is no fun when it catches ur wrist...the good old days ..I loved them..😁

Gloves!

Still, this is the best method. Some dentist don't want to spend time on a patient.

Im thinking how young is the patient and she is edentulous at this age 😐

Very helpful information, I always end up going back to your channel to learn from these videos, thank you

I really enjoy with these vedioes of UMichDent so thnx alot

I work for a dental lab, and its hard to see docs use this method, very old school, now a dental tech can read a impression and know where the postdawn goes...to many steps...

Excellent job done

some people lose all their teeth in their 20's.... its a very common issue unfortunately & i think she's about 40..

revising the collage clinics

Do you need pressure pot with cold cure?

After having most of my teeth extracted 1 year ago, I had mine relined a few weeks using the above method.   Tedious process but the only way to get dentures to fit properly.   The top dentures fit great, the bottom is a problem due to loss of bone.

Dude, where did you park your PPE?🤔🤪🤪🤪🤪😆😆😆GLOVE UP YO. OH..IO

Really good if a bit old fashioned. At least the woman had a pleasant face.
