Hello guys, so back to best sounding cars series. I got to tell you it has been a long time since I done something like this and it was real fun making it, of course I couldnt make this without guys from my discord server, so huge thanks to them. First of all I feel like Carbon is not getting enough recognition as It should, in my opinion, it does compare to nowdays games, but not as much if you compare it with most wanted, underground series or pro street even. I believe Carbon has some sick sounds, as you can hear in my video and it should be right there with other games. Well, hope you like it.

15 years old and this game has better sounds than forza horizon 4

When EA was "challenge everything" and not "PayPal everything"

Sound of M3 GTR in Carbon is one of the greatest engine sounds in games IMO. Maybe its not very realistic, but it is sooo damn cool

@vHiddenAce 6 years ago

Love the way the screen shakes when shifting, it adds so much. I miss how cool the body kits were back in the day, I'm pretty sure almost every car had some sort of unique body kit that was more than just bolt on wheel arches

Nice Transition between non upgrade and upgraded car!

@superchargedv8146 4 years ago

This game has crystal clear, bassy and pretty accurate car sounds and it came out 16 year ago!! UNBELIEVABLE!

4:05
Every shift sounds like you won in life

7:36 that THUMP that you get when changing gears in a Brera is SOOOO satisfying

@DarkM2212 6 years ago

Curiosity: In Nfs heat, the Gallardo sound file is still present in the huracan performante variant, they changed the tone a bit in the gears but it's still the same after all this time!

2:04 sound of absolute domination

who still watching this in 2024

Just recently bought this game a few days ago for the Xbox 360 for “nostalgic” reasons since I played it originally for the PS2 “back in 2006”, and boy oh boy them graphics and sound quality still hold up great in the year 2020. NFS Carbon is a great example of how NFS used to be known for making “quality” games and putting lots of “effort” into their games, unlike nowadays where it’s all about the “revenue” and “micro transactions” that the game can produce. One of the best NFS ever created. Shoutout to all the OG’s who played NFS Carbon at its prime time just like myself. 🙏🏼

4:23 stock Skyline sound is the same sound of Paul Walker’s Skyline in FF2 and i love it

@carlomendoza6173 6 years ago

Original engine skyline sounds so sweet and awesome

Most Wanted and Carbon will go down as the prime NFS experience. I love underground and hot pursuit 2 but these games just hit different. Even the screen shake and effects just made you feel like you was actually going fast. So good.

There's no arcade racing game today that has better engine and FX sounds or gameplay than this one.
"But heat is more realistic, blah, blah, blah..."
Be realistic does not mean be better.
Edit: my opinion.
