You'll find more information about Dr. Lazarev's Clinic on our website https://narcoklinika.com.
The only full-service addiction treatment center in the Northwest region (from home visits to rehabilitation and resocialization).
Proprietary individualized treatment programs created by PhD and DSc candidates.
A psychiatric department with comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a personalized treatment plan.
Today, our guest is Dmitry Alekseev, the organizer of the School of Yoga for Addiction. We'd like to share Dmitry's story of his personal journey from addiction, despair, the struggle for survival, and fear to a world of self-development—an inspiring and illustrative example of how to change your life.
Now he is a successful, competent person, sharing the knowledge and philosophy of self-discovery, helping those suffering from drug or alcohol addiction.
Nine years of constant opiate and other substance abuse, overdoses and near-death experiences, problems with gangsters and the law, a daily struggle for survival—it was a period of hellish fear.
Then came a period of drug-free life. Dmitry spent seven years studying psychology and religion, growing rapidly, and becoming a successful businessman.
But unprocessed feelings of guilt, shame, fear, and inferiority prevented Dmitry from remaining sober, and he relapsed.
The secret to happiness and success in life lies in the harmonious integration of all spheres. This requires harmony in the external and internal factors of a person's life, forming a single, integrated wheel of life balance:
Biological sphere—health;
Mental sphere—emotions, thoughts;
Spiritual sphere—inner world, morality;
Social sphere—family, community, new social connections.
Addiction is just one of the challenges many people face daily. An addict escapes reality in every way possible – drugs, alcohol, sex, shopping, food, the pursuit of wealth, gambling, and so on. At some point, they will have to confront themselves and begin a journey toward self-discovery. It will be painful and unpleasant, but that's what real life is.
Specialists at the Lazarev Clinic, various anonymous groups, and Dmitry Alekseev at his school of yoga for addictions help addicts navigate this journey toward self-discovery and achieve harmony in life.
