I love that they included the original Cylons, for me that was beautiful :)

I wanted them to land Galactica on the far side of the moon and fill it with all of their literature, art, music, and history.  With great detail of the last several years.  So that some day their decedents could learn where they came from, and what their ancestors did in order for them to have lived.  Also, so not to repeat the mistakes of the past.

It was epic seeing centurions and marines fighting together against the other cylons (minute 6:30)

This show makes us believe we see our future, while in fact it depicts our past! Fantastic ending!

Of all the series finales that I have seen in my life time, this has to be the most satisfying one that still keeps me thinking.

Sad ending for the best Battlestar LONG LIVE GALACTICA, she died doing what she was built for & didn't die alone

Galactica will always be the ship that can take the biggest pounding from enemy fire before it turns around, gives you the middle figure before it blows you away

Together with the death of the pegasus this is the BEST way to die for a ship.

I actually didn't want them to fly her into the sun, rather had them rebuild her and anchor her on the moon......

Best end ever to a SciFi serie.

I think of all the dramatic scenes in this series, Galactica breaking her back as she jumped broke my heart the most.

Damn I miss this show. This was the last really good thing the Sci Fi channel ever made.

...then they changed their name to Syphilis.

Don't forget that the Galactica became a hybrid between human and cylon technology along the way, allowing Anders to be (in control of) the ship. Spraying fire on a single spot would have allowed Anders to the the same with their energy, making a strong shield against the hits, but making random hitting spots with their weapons, the cylons wanted to force Galactica to distribute its powers among many many small segments.

Nothing beats an epic battle in scifi and this was truly EPIC. :-)

She took one hell of a beating, but she got her people home.  No better tribute can ever be given.

Never ever ever watched this show but out of curiosity checked this out and now I'm very intrigued.

I finished the series now, and this was the best fraking series finale ever made!!!

I LOOOOVE it when they show the ships jump from within the ship.  Awesome scene.... I miss this show already.

Shows you how much of a beast the Galactica is... Don't it. She took the hits and shrugged them off. that old girl still had it. she was fighting for her crew and her family and to those who say a ship has no soul. I say FRACK YOU!!! Remember her with honor and dignity because when all hope seemed lost she was there, and she did her job for 30+ YEARS before the end came.
