People used to keep lions and tigers in cages, too. No one would even THINK to do that these days. Sure, they seem happy enough, but they aren’t getting the exercise they need. They’ve just given up on life.
Also, just because rabbits are being raised for meat doesn’t mean they don’t deserve a good life. I hope you will take the time to consider an alternative form of keeping your rabbits.
