Airport security: Ma'am, do you have anything metal on you at the moment?
Nimi: Does this Space Marine armour I'm wearing count?

"They're usually nice to me."

She’s like Wolverine walking through a metal detector

Staff pointing to metal detector : Ma'am you do know what this machine use for ? Yes METAL. And now look at you.

Wallace and Grommets.

Nimi, wearing full plate mail armor at the airport: "I have no idea what could have set off the metal detector!'

walking through airport security sounding like a keyring jostled around in a cutlery drawer.

" I no longer how to wear work appropriate clothes."

I set of the sensors routinely too but I dont have that kind of clothing. Ultimately its so routine at this point i just kind of expect it as a somewhat frequent flier, lol.

Hot take - she wants the pats

New idea to ensure not being "handled" at one's home airport: Act like you enjoy it. A LOT.
