Reason why the oil drills are magnetic, there's a special head that they need to attach to fish out the fallen bit, but it means stopping the drilling, changing rods, placing the fishing tool, slowly reach for it, energize the magnet and then even slower rise it back up. Depending on depth that's half a day of work lost because of a rookie mistake.

That's Jeran doing the Flat Earth experiment. He's one of the ones who went on the Final Experiment to see the 24 hour sun in Antarctica and is no longer a Flat Earther.
He's the only (former) Flat Earther who would actually test field experiments, so props to him.

That fart was phenomenally horrendous, she must have been holding it in for hours 😂

Oil rig: "Pull the lever, Kronk!"
"WRONG LEVERRRRR!"

The problem is that when conspiracy theorists (e.g. flat Earthers) find evidence that would disprove their theories, they ignore or discount it.  Bob Knodel bought a $15,000 ring laser gyroscope to prove the Earth is stationary.  When it showed a 15 degree per hour drift, instead of accepting that the Earth rotates he assumed it was because the celestial dome was causing interference, and tried various ways of isolating the gyroscope, all to no avail.

0:12 She just let it rip 😭😭

A bit of advice from someone who does home repairs. Some companies pay their service techs commission. Before hiring a company, check their job postings and check the pay. Don't hire anyone that works for a company that pays commission. The guys that work for straight hourly wages don't have a reason to scam you.

11:28 The proper response is: "Same, I love your mom more than you too."

2:39 The ocean has over 1 x 10^27 (1 with 27 zeroes behind it) individual plankton in it. It's what keeps the ocean "clean".

An indoor pool, however, has little to no plankton filtering out all of that literal crap. Imagine getting splashed in the eyes and mouth with all that funk.

2:50 the relative volume of water to fish (and other animals) is massively higher in the ocean than at any aquarium.  Thus the concentration of poop is far lower in the ocean.

18:30 Alternatively she has a spoon because she already had her own ice cream and is now trying to steal his because hers ran out.

9:17 this is a safety door, if the electricity goes down, you can still push the door. It's meant for emergency - big crowd pushing to get out - or electricity shortage.

18:12 thats what happens when you tell a man youre not hungry or you dont want anything when he goes out for snacks or food.

As someone who works in retail, I can explain the automatic door. The reason it swings open like that is if you have something too wide to fit through it normally. The sliding part would be set to stay open, and then the door part and the other part hinge open. I work in a farm supply store, so I have to use this a lot

7:59 "i'm gonna die over there" is so relatable 😭

16:50 oh so that's why they call it "trip the alarm"

I would say the coach putting on a happy face for the news thing it's because he has to contractually but as soon as he found out that he didn't need to he's like oh thank God I can go along my business.

Went to a Kasabian show; during a break between songs, the lead singer went to a girl in the audience and asked, "How are you enjoying the show?"
She screams and starts saying how she's been a huge fan forever and how she's always wanted to see them live and listing off the names of the band  members when the guy pulls the mic away and says "-That's not us."
It was the opening act, a group called Soft Play comprised of 2 guys. The audience recoiled in horror and embarrassment. 10/10 show would watch again.

The golfer is Bryson DeChambeau. Due to others helping hold the rope up that high, when he went to move it out of the way, it slipped from his hand and was able to snap back at his face and it hit him in his eye. He's fine as far as I've read, but he needed a moment.

btw, the correct response if ur phone start smoking like that is not to pick it up that guy got lucky. those lithium battier in those phones can explode.
