I never thought clams could be this huge.
I thought cartoons like Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes were overexaggerating with the big clams in the Ocean/Beach themed episodes.

This used to be available in the us very infrequently at sushi restaurants and yes they are normally much smaller from what i understand about the same size as a conch, bear in mind i have only seen this once or twice over 15 years ago
