As a kid who grew up in lakeport CA. Where this tournament took place. I worked in the local tackle shop from 11 years old till 17 making lures and working the store. In 2007 I was in 7th grade. This tournament was so cool. Best memory of my life. It was like the celebrities came up haha. I followed them around in my aluminum boat all day. So cool.

This is a great view.  This is how it should be viewed today.  Look how simple the electronics were.  They didn't need 54" of screens or for- facing sonar.  And Swindle had good knees.

Watching my dad fish this is seriously amazing especially when im 2 tournaments away from blasting off in my 1st bassmaster elite

What happened to the Bassmasters production? These old tournaments are so much better to watch than what they produce now! From the break down the lake to all the animated videos of how the pros are fishing. So so much better. Now we have to watch people pitch baits at people in a casting contest and other nonsense.

I fished in that event as a co angler and finished 16. Clearlake is one of the top 5 fisheries in the world,period!!!
