Oh we have so many pound shops!  You go in and you think, I'm saving money.  And you come out with 20 pounds worth of stuff, half of which do not work!

the character of 'nan' is so much like a lots of grandmas here in the UK I feel, my own included haha

You need to see Catherine Tate, nan anger management meeting

Look at Catherine with George Michael the Christmas special it’s hilarious! :)

Love your story on the pound shop. Thanks for sharing 👍🥰

Just you have to watch Nan Taylor competing on Deal or no Deal..

Your Dollar Store story is so spot-on. They are such a con. “Remote controlled car”…. The clue is in the name ….. “REMOTE controlled”. NOT  “20-foot controlled car”!!!!
Also, just as a ‘nothing comment’ really: the three jam jars that Nan was looking at, aren’t attached to each other, the way you mention. That’s just the packaging, it keeps them together like that, until you undo the packaging tape!! 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸

Catherine Tate must have known my Nan that is exactly what she was like as I was growing up

The 2nd biggest Pound Shop chain in the UK started in my city, not that anyone realises.
The founder sold the chain to some Americans, and they went bust within a few years.
The founder has since set up another Pound Shop chain to help re-employ some of the workers who lost their jobs when the Americans ruined the original company.
He even had his own TV show from 2012 to 2015 called Pound Shop Wars.

I’ve just recently discovered your channel and I’m currently binge watching!!! Your content is great and you deserve to hit 20,000 subscribers as soon as possible. You should check out Celebrating little Britain on YouTube. It was a huge hit in the UK and I think they did a USA version but not sure if it took off. You should also check out Michael McIntyre on YouTube, he’s a UK comedian. A huge thank you for keeping your YouTube fans entertained.

I had a remote control car like that with a wire I loved it, but this was in the 1980’s, then also in the 1980’s I then had a proper remote control car with out wire.

I love your videos man! So cool to see more people my age enjoying Catherine Tate! She is honestly my favorite. I never get tired of her videos. There is a lot more you should review. She has a lot of great characters! But yeah Nan is probably my all time favorite!

Go to any nursing home anywhere and you will see people like Nan Taylor.  In fact, Catherine Tate got her character of Nan Taylor from inspiration from visiting a nursing home herself.

The woman serving is the receptionist from the hospital sketch.

Cannot go into a pound shop without playing this sketch back in my head. "How much is that?", "Pound", "How much is that?", "Pound"

That is exactly what a remote control car is, what you’re thinking of is a radio controlled car, subtle difference in the language 🚗🤣

Yes brilliant Nan she makes you laugh every time even though we know lots of the lines she comes out with you can’t help but watch her she brilliant Love 💕 from Denise in Yorkshire England 😂😂🥲🤣👏👏👏💕👍🥰👋

Catherine is the best ..superb actress. Old folks were just like that typical East End accent.. we call our grandma's Nan.

Catherine tate is a national treasurex🇬🇧🤣👍💖
