this video is for anyone picking up the ace pro 2 and wondering where to start with the new accessories.

after spending real time with all the new lenses, my opinion on this camera has completely changed. in this video i walk through how i’ve been using the cinematic and ultra wide lenses in a normal, everyday context and which one actually makes sense to buy first.

Man, thank you so much for your videos and insights! After around 20 to 30 actual hours or whatever I have finally decided on buying ace pro 2. It was a tough decision, comparing it with action 6 and trying to make most of my budget. But this video put an end to my struggle. Going to grab my piece next monday. Also really liked your other videos. Keep your passion and please share it with us!

That's actually a sick idea, filming in 2.35:1 on a wide angle. Almost bought the cinematic one but i'm out, getting the wide angle.

The ultrawide with the 2.35:1 aspect ratio is SICK!!!

@babyboy1971 1 month ago

I’m coming back to comment again, this is sweet! That lens is 🔥

@doughboylife 8 months ago

could you go over the settings on ur ace pro with both lenses? especially the ultra wide?

Great video Chris! I have been playing around with the big 3 (dji/gopro/acepro2) for my channel, and I wanted to love this one but always got hung up trying to grade it to something I liked with the 8 bit limitations. Seems like you've nailed it though. Maybe I finally need to give dehancer a whirl

Man this looks amazing! - I recently bought the lens because of your video. I Love how the FOV looks in the cinematic aspect ratio.

Did you use horizon lock while vlogging with the Ultra Wide lens + the aspect ratio 2.35.1?

@DarkFire515 3 months ago

I think on balance I prefer the cinematic lens, but I can 100% see why people end up getting both. Really nice footage!

@amazinazihn 8 months ago

This looks so awesome in that aspect ratio and thank you! I was so back and forth on which lens to start with and this sealed the deal for me!

@Its_jugi 8 months ago

with this wide lens its great because it can fit the meta footage perfectly and not cut you out. This is very cool brother! Always ahead of the curve!

@retroloop 8 months ago

Brilliant as always Chris. I have the cinematic lens and do really love it. However the immersion that the Ultrawide gives is epic. Great video that showcases the differences - Ultrawide incoming for me I think.

First time viewer. Picked up the xplorer grip pro recently and loving it.and also, is that a team rocket cap? 😅

Watching this on my 120” 2.35 screen, love it.

You have some of the most stylish and authentic videos i've seen. Keep it up! Watched your video on how much you like the Osmo Nano but with I-Log on the 360 Ultra, would you now only recommend the Ultra or is the Nano still a good buy?

@babyboy1971 5 months ago

This is insane! I was gonna sell my ace pro two to get an action six but I think I’m just gonna save up for the action six… Or the nano I can’t freaking decide. I need that cinematic lens for the Ace pro 2!

The shot moving towards the city on the ferry was👌🏻! Love the aspect ratio, super unique and really interesting to watch.

Informative video, thank you! As someone getting into video from years shooting only stills, I find this discussion quite helpful. Subscribing! (and a local Vancouverite as well)
