My favorite version of Leon is the one in Vendetta where he's shit faced the whole time and has a more consistent relationship with a motorcycle than with literally anyone else in the series.

Honestly I love how over the top bonkers RE5 was. That finale was JRPG level of spectacle: a fight over the fate of the world between a super powerful mutant and a buff muscular hero and his gorgeous partner, on top of an active volcano, finished with the villain screaming Chris's name in agony while drowning in lava before getting hit with TWO rockets! Is there anything more final?

"Not revealing your hand"
I feel like Gingy was possessed by Leon writing this one (I laughed way too hard)

Re4 was so fuckin good that it changed resident evil for like 15 years.

Once upon a time there was a YouTube channel called "HCloudXIII". It uploaded cutscene compilation vids cut in chronological order under story specific themes like "Racoon City Chronicles". Each chronicle vid had scenes from multiple games and console generations that detailed every story beat to perfection. It was fantastic and I miss those vids so much!

The Krauser QTE’s in classic RE4 got me killed more than any other game in the entire series. Fun times

2:33:24 “I’m gonna cap you for capping my dad who wanted to cap almost every one in the whole world…” yeah. That makes sense.

Chris punching a boulder is just as cool as it was back then. LEGACY lol.

i can understand why it's not for everyone but doing a combo on ustanak with jake was awesome for me as a teenager

A thing with Luis is I’m pretty sure in the original he’s not from the village but just hunted nearby it with his grandpa while in the remake it explicitly states he’s from the village

RE:3 is what started me down the road to speed running and post game shenanigans. RE:4 is what pushed me to get gud at it. Finding every treasure, seeing every corner of every room, talking trash to the enemies as I round housed or suplexed priests. Pro mode insanity. This is when I started to love RE as a franchise .

Although many think Wesker is a poorly written character. He still is my favorite character in the entire franchise

Absolutely perfect timing Gingy, just about to go to bed and I love listening to your videos to fall asleep

To quote Pat and Matt of the former Super Best Friends stellar RE4 playthrough describing Saddlers motives and equating it to quoting with Mr Plinkett describing Palpatine being the best character from the Star Wars prequels because he's the most full of life character
"he's not like a charismatic cult leader, he's more like a sleezy snake oil sales man"
"Yeah He's so full of it, he's so evil and he loves it, YOU GOT TO RESPECT THAT"

I always feel crazy for honesty loving RE6 like I feel like it’s stupid fun. But this feeling is also probably helped by the fact that it was a game my dad and I played together and both had a blast with.
