Thanks for watching, subscribe for more plant and mushroom ID videos https://www.youtube.com/c/UKWILDCRAFTS

This morning I scouted out the fields behind the back of my house (which I rarely visit), taking with me what I've learned from these videos, and it's opened up a whole new dimension of awareness for me. So far I've identified 11 different edible plant/fungi species, and found several other useful plants/fungi/trees growing there. It goes to show just how disconnected from our roots we have become in our modern, mycophobic world of commerce and consumerism.
Thanks for these great vids!

Wow I never knew that insects see mostly by ultraviolet light. It is so interesting to hear about these things.

It is so beautiful the way the fungus & moss grow. I love the appearence of the natural growth.

Some of the mushrooms are such beautiful colours.

Thankyou for sharing the information about these mushrooms & cooking etc.

I have never seen any of those porcelain mushrooms.

as always; organised, concise info that is clearly presented. Makes the whole thing so much more interesting and useful. You should do tutorials on how to present youtube videos ;)

Most of the mushrooms peak in the summer in my region, but i envy areas with good autumn foraging. I have been finding a lot of lion's mane and resinous polypore lately!

I do pick and eat the Crested Coral fungus if there's not much else around, but rather for filling out a meal than for taste.
They are a little fiddly, but grow in great quantities where I live.

Really good video! You've answered some of my novice forager questions all in one video. Thanks for your time, effort and knowledge 👏👏

I watched this when you posted it. I've just watched it again, after actively beginning to get out into nature again. Really helpful videos. Thank you. 🍄🍄

Beginner forager here, plan to start picking mushrooms next year once I’ve done some homework on them. Such a great video! ☺️
